Zandous Ordo, later known as Mandalore the Pacifier, was Mandalore during the Second Mandalorian War. Following the death of Mandalore the Destroyer in 78,028 ABY, Zandous became the new Mandalore, eager to cement the bonds of the Mandalore Alliance with the Jedi Order and the New Republic.
The fragile Alliance was attacked by the Sith Empire, forcing Zandous to the forefront of the Second Mandalorian War. While he was offered the chance to surrender by Evxa-Uun, the Mandalore refused. Three years of brutal combat against the Sith resulted in severe damage to the Mandalore Alliance, and the Republic was forced to withdraw after the Destruction of Namaxxion.
Zandous regrouped on Kamino, where in the resulting battle he fought the Sith Lord Evxa-Uun himself in mortal combat. Uun disarmed Zandous, before executing him by decapitation. Zaron Fett, the Mandalore's right hand man, tried to avenge his kinsmen, but the Sith Lord was too strong, and the Mandalorians were defeated
Succession[]
With the leaders of the two most powerful clans (Zandous Ordo and Zaron Fett) dead, the Mandalorians were leaderless. What followed was the formation of the Fett-Ordo Alliance, were the sons of Zandous and Zaron ruled together as comrades for centuries to come. The Mandalorians never grew as powerful as they were before the war.
