Yarus was a male serving as a captain in the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. In the first year of the conflict, he was assigned by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine as the commander of the Xerxes, a prototype Super Star Destroyer with cloaking devices. However, the Confederacy of Independent Systems launched an attack using Death Watch commandos to infiltrate the ship, who destroyed it. Palpatine was furious, and had Yarus (who was on the shipyards when the Xerxes was destroyed) executed.
