Yartho was a planet in the Jahíra Star System in the Batír Sector. It was one of two neutral planets in the Jahira System, the other being Comtho.

Terrain

Yartho was best known in the Batír Sector for its oceanic southern hemisphere, and the barren desert covering the northern. Its equator was a thin strip of tropical forest extending the circumference of the world, and the north and south poles were swamps of a Force-sensitive sweet smelling slime.

Ecology

No sentient being was native to the planet, but there were many aquatic and desert species. Few had been documented, but included the Yarthonian Hopper, and the Hypsijyl Bird. Few humans lived on Yartho, and the ones that did often lived in environmentally friendly homes powered by solar energy.
