Wquioans were a large reptilian species native to Wquioa.
Biology and appearance

Wquioans had six legs and two huge wings, which gave them the power of flight. The Wquioans lived in massive caves, where they could sleep for centuries, until awakening for food or other reasons, yet they could also stay away for just as long. Their glowing red eyes gave them impressive night vision, and had powerful psychic power, and could easily shape their dwellings at their will. Using this power, Wquioans could also keep their children in and intruders out.
Society and cultureEdit
Despite the fact that almost all of the cities on Wquioa were underground cave systems, Wquioans still utilized Galactic technology in their caves. In Ewuirut, the capital, for example, Wquioans could travel and meet easily, due to the usage of subways and other forms of transportation. Wquioan buildings were carved directly out of the caves, or used smaller caves themselves, but also utilized blast doors and other technology throughout their structures and homes.
The Wquioans were represented in the Galactic Senate circa 235 BBY by Iou-Puyq-Troyi, who continued to serve as Senator of Wquioa until the Republic's dissolution in 19 BBY.
