Wipeout droids were incredibly powerful military droids used by the Droid Confederacy. They were similar in shape and size to B1 battle droids, however, many parts of their bodies were painted red. Their left arms ended in flat radios which they used to communicate with others, and their right arms had wrist blasters. At the ends of their right arms were dextrose hands which they usually kept hidden. Their backpack held a flamethrower at the end of a long tube which the droids could control in the same way as an arm. On the center of their chests was a small hole which was used to fire Thermal Detonators which were stored in their backpacks. A few inches above the top of their right leg was a small chaingun. During the Second Battle of Providence, Wipeout droids played a quite significant role in the protection of the Droid Confederacy's capital ships. Three of them managed to defeat a large part of Darth Tyler's boarding party, but could not defeat the Sith himself as they had not been given Thermal Detonators or any other weapon that could not be blocked by a lightsaber.
