Winter Celchu was a Human female born on Alderaan to Sheltay Retrac in 19 BBY. She was a childhood friend of Leia Organa.[1]

One afternoon, after Leia had returned home from staying late at school, she and Leia talked about Leia's encounter with Epin Lanmaw. When Leia asked if Winter thought she was pretty, Winter inquired why Leia would ask. Leia explained that Epin had complimented her, and upon hearing this, Winter teased Leia about having a "boyfriend". Winter also commented that she had seen Epin on a few occasions and she thought he was "cute". Leia yelled at Winter, claiming that she was the one Epin thought was pretty. The two made up however, and Winter continued teasing Leia about her and Epin. When Queen Breha made her way into the girls' room to say goodnight, she questioned Winter as to who was "In love." Winter explained what happened, and Leia became embarrassed, tossing her pillow at Winter.[1]
