The War of Chapek IX was the only "war" in the planet's history. The Republic was attempting to regain the planet from the hands of mutinous droids. The Republic realized they were losing and were commanded to bombard the planet with capital ships, creating a large crater and destroying nearly all forces, friend and foe.
