Vixus Quel

Vixus Quel was born on an unknown planet to unknown parents - he first appeared on the steps of the Temple, his cries drawing a curious guard outside to investigate. Born in 100 ABY, he was exceptionally powerful in the Force, but struggled with light saber combat. He was promoted to the Council in 159 ABY.

[edit] Beginnings (100 - 114 ABY)
Little is known about Vixus' beginnings, having been left on the steps of the Temple as a newborn. However, as he grew older, he developed exceptional power with the Force, able to levitate objects and himself with ease. However, he struggled to perform even basic maneuvers with a light saber. Regardless, he made friends easily, and became extremely popular within the Order.
[edit] Apprenticeship (114 - 126 ABY)
Becoming an Apprentice to a Council Member of the time, his Master was greatly impressed by Vixus' mastery over the Force, but grew concerned by his problems with light saber combat, and so worked with him hard on it, until Vixus began to grow stronger in that area of combat.
[edit] Promotions (126 - 160 ABY)
After being promoted to Jedi Knight for his actions in several missions, Vixus was promoted to the rank of Jedi Master in 143 ABY, after stopping a speeder with the Force that was carrying a bomb headed for the Senate chambers. He got everyone to safety, forced the speeder to ground, and deactivated the bomb, arresting the terrorists within. In 159 ABY, he was promoted to the Jedi Council after his former Master retired from the Council in his old age.

With the assassination of the Supreme Chancellor, Vixus convinced the Council of the importance of showing themselves to be staunch allies of the Republic. He personally led the delegation to Coruscant where he announced that the Jedi would be leading an attack on the Sith stronghold of Kroprulu.
