Victor Dorantes (born February 27, 1989)[1] is a writer, mostly working as a fan fiction author in the Star Wars fictional universe. Dorantes is the artist and author of a compilation of works titled the Squishy Vic Series, taken from his nickname "Squishy Vic." Dorantes has worked on numerous narratives, presentations, and has created both the art and photography for each of his works.[2]

The works include The Antrell Epoch duology of novels, Acceptance and Deliverance; the short stories The Fallen and The Return; the web series The Darkness of Phydah; and two reference works, the essay Into the Realm of Star Wars and the interactive Essential Guide to the Squishy Vic Series.

Dorantes has also collaborated with other fan fiction authors since his own tenure began. Dorantes has worked alongside author Atarumaster88 as a beta reader for his Force Exile series,[4] and has also done voice work for The Treaty of Reticence, a fan film by writer and director Brent Phillips.[5] As well, Dorantes has contributed to the Alternative Saga as an artist.[3]

Outside of Star Wars, Dorantes wrote a play entitled Where's Your Wife? for Rio Hondo College in 2008, which was produced in October of that year.[6]
