Vendere Dashin was a Lieutenant in the Coruscant Security Force Anti-Terrorism Unit during the Invasion of Utapau. She was also a descendant of Cos Jonathan Dashin, who served as the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic during the Great Sovereign Crusades. Unlike many of her ancestors, Vendere decided not to enter politics, instead favoring a job in security and defense.[1]
After Commander Reylan Aadaeil assisted Jedi Master Mace Windy in the capture of Jango Fett on Nar Shaddaa, and after Windy reported that he believed Fett was a Mandalorian, Vendere was called in to assist with the investigation. Vendere was briefed by her superiors regarding the Mandalorians, and she learned that all information and potential threats had been designated as being credible. Shortly thereafter, she and Aadaeil were assigned to help guard Fett in the Jedi Temple prison wing where they briefed Windy before his interrogation of Fett. They were also assigned to guard Fett.[1]
