Veil of Darkness, by Wayne Lipman III, details the further fall of Epin Lanmaw.
It covers the continuing efforts of Palpatine's secret order to subvert the ongoing rebellion. However, deceit is within everyone as they all follow their own agendas.

Epin Lanmaw, a small town farmer from Alderaan, has been brought into the service of Emperor Palpatine, and begun service, acting as his reach. He partners with Kryon Milan, and together the two are tasked with rooting out rebel insurrections, no matter where they may be.
