Joining the communityEdit

Hey, Patricknoddy! Sorry if this added message seems a bit overwhelming after the huge welcome message you just received, but what I wanted to say is important enough to re-emphasize it here. I wanted to make sure you were as aware as possible of the fantastic community we have here on the wiki. There is literally so much to do beyond just working on your own articles. I definitely don't want to sound like I'm suggesting you shouldn't work on your own articles, but there's a larger community out there too and we'd all love for you to get involved! I'm sorry to tell you this, but please read what I left above for you: All madeby templates are to be deleted sometime soon. When soon is, I don't know, maybe after the sysop elections. Madeby templates get in the way of the article and are huge, obnoxious nuisances. (And that's not me just spouting out my feelings on this subject, that's a site policy now. Read the Forum:Community "Editing War" for more details.) Meanwhile, a simple, but still authoritative Category:Articles by (Insert Username) is better, because it doesn't waste space or mess up the article. Once again, sorry.
