[edit] Rules & Regulations
As of an agreement made with my parents, I can no longer talk to anyone whom my parent's have not viewed as "good". My time here will be reduced and I am posting this message so I can keep working here without any further problems with them. I love my parents very much and I respect their wishes.
Do not contact me unless it is regarding a question about an article or something important involving this site. Anything else is most likely out of the question. 21:49, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Question about Kahl Wastelands
Hello, Would you consider your Kahl Wastelands to be a dry region/desert. I am asking because I am working on categorization and was hoping to move this article to the desert category. --Kathkira talk 22:03, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Role-Playing
(You barely had time to delfect a Blaster Bolt away from you. You start looking around to see where it came from, and see a Young man standing on a platform above you)
????:I had no idea that you were a Jedi... My employers said nothing about that... Oh well, as Long as I get paid! (He fires many more shots, but you deflect each one with ease. The last one you deflected bounced back and shot the blaster out of the man's hand)
????: Oh you're good... (He jumps down from the Platform and draws a Red Lightsaber)
????: Enough fooling around!

[edit] Special CASWFN Edition
| ||
[edit] Friends, fanonites, countrymen, lend me your ears…er, eyes…whatever…just run the tapeWelcome to another issue of By now, you've probably realized that this issue is not part of the CUSWFN, nor is it written by the usual culprits. No, instead we got tired of waiting around for the *actual* CUSWFN and decided to make our own, special one-issue-only release. We're not sure what happened to the actual heads. Word has it one of them is busy with the Communist party and the other is playing with children's toys. Please direct all complaints to them and not us. Especially since we're not revealing our names. In fact, we just conned Ataru into uploading this for us because he's a convenient fall guy. As such, this issue is labeled the CASWFN, the Completely Alternative Star Wars Fanon Newsletter, due to the fact that it is not part of the standard newsletter. And, since it's not part of that mess, we felt that we could take a few more creative liberties with the content. As such, there is no compunction for us to be as serious in this issue, so you might find the content a bit more satirical. The date of this release also has something to do with that. Our goal is both provide a level of humor and content missing from CUSWFN issues, and frankly, to have fun with this publication. We hope you'll enjoy this special release of CASWFN, and remember, if you've been wishing you got more issues of the usual newsletter, talk to the normal heads.

[edit] Eras
Please,
could you give me authorization to use your fan era "Refugee era" in the histories of my articles such as Timeline of Kundun's history and Kundun? I wrote them originally thinking that it was OK to create my own articles using the yet written eras, but now I know that I have to have an authorization. If not, much of my histories would have to be changed.
So, could you please give me your authorization to use this era on my articles? Thank you!

[edit] Images
I reverted your edit to Allie Skywalker Starkiller. You can't tell someone they can't use an image you uploaded unless you either a) created the image or b) made significant modifications to it. Because you did neither, you have no legitimate basis or right to tell someone they can't use it. Just wanted to give you the heads up. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 02:19, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- Ugh, I had that done about three months ago. Not a very pleasant experience. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 13:40, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
That's....incredibly unheard of. Must've been quite the ordeal, lol. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 15:53, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- No dental insurance? - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 20:51, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Sucks, but yeah. Oh well. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 01:40, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Mass deletion
Hey NKSCF. Just to let you know, you can’t remove the MassDelete and improvement templates until after at least three users (including the user who originally tagged it) have approved of the corrections made to the article. For more information, you should probably read the Mass Deletion FAQ. Thanks. - Nacen (Talk) 12:49, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to the twenty-third edition of the Star Wars Fanon wiki’s very own Completely Unofficial Star Wars Fanon Newsletter! For this twenty-third edition, we welcome a new co-editor, Brandon Rhea, to the team! He will be working alongside long-time editor Unit 8311 to bring you the best quality news about the wiki and fan fiction, as well as editorials and opinions essays about Star Wars works, that this wiki has to offer. A little bit of trivia information is that Rhea, along with fellow Star Wars Fanon user Victor Dorantes, has served as the co-editor of the newsletter once before, but he and Dorantes resigned before releasing an issue due to other commitments that required their attention. We are happy that he has returned to us once again! In this edition, you will be able to learn new exclusive information about fan works such as the Squishy Vic Series and Avian Hunt, as well as read news about other works sponsored by this newsletter. We also have an opinion essay written by our own Unit 8311, and the newly-renamed Picture of the Edition segment. We have also brought you up-to-date information about new policy proposals and other happenings around the wiki, such as the ongoing mass deletion process that is geared towards improving the quality of the wiki. Speaking of quality, many users have remarked that the last few editions of this newsletter have not met the standards of quality that our readers have come to expect from us. It is our sincerest hope that this edition of the newsletter will be the first of many that will rectify that, as we have spent weeks working on articles, editorials, and other tidbits that we hope you will enjoy. Because we are striving to improve our quality, we very much encourage you to leave your comments and feedback in the User Comments section. Anything you have to say will be appreciated. As always, thank you for reading the Completely Unofficial Star Wars Fanon Newsletter. We value your commitment to us, and we hope that you will continue to value our commitment to you! |
[edit] CUSWFN – Edition 24
Thank you for your continued commitment to the Completely Unofficial Star Wars Fanon Newsletter! Without you, this edition, albeit somewhat late due to real life matters taking priority for both Unit 8311 and Brandon Rhea, would not have been possible. We hope you enjoy it just as much as we do!

This edition has been brought to you by co-editors Unit 8311 and Brandon Rhea, and has been made possible by a number of others who took the time to be interviewed by our team. The reception of the twenty-third edition was unanimously positive, and we hope to continue this new trend as long as this newsletter continues to operate! [edit] CUSWFN – Edition 25
Thank you for your continued commitment to the Completely Unofficial Star Wars Fanon Newsletter! Without you, this edition, albeit somewhat late due to unfortunate technical difficulties, would not have been possible. We hope you enjoy it just as much as we do!
|
Welcome to the twenty-fifth edition of the Star Wars Fanon Wiki’s very own Completely Unofficial Star Wars Fanon Newsletter! Co-editors Unit 8311 and Brandon Rhea are thrilled to bring you the silver anniversary edition of this newsletter, which has been made possible by a number of others who took the time to be interviewed by our team. We would also like to thank former editors Darth tader, Darth tom, and Drewton for all of the work they put into making all twenty-five editions of this newsletter possible! Now that the thank you part is out of the way, there is a lot of news from the past few weeks since our last release, and we are bringing that and more to your doorstep for yet another outstanding edition! Before we go any further, we would like to acknowledge the delay in this issue’s release. For anyone who was patiently waiting for this newest edition, we would like to apologize for the wait and thank you for being so patient. Unexpected technical difficulties delayed it longer than we had hoped, but once again we are very pleased that we are able to deliver this edition to your doorstep. Rest assured that the next releases will be much timelier! Also, we are announcing that co-editor Brandon Rhea is stepping down from the aforementioned position, effective immediately. As he said when he was elected to the position, “I'm just trying to fix [the newsletter] and put it back on the right track. When that's done, I'm done.” He feels satisfied with the major improvements over the last three editions, so he has decided to let someone else have the chance to help co-edit the newsletter. He has, however, offered to be the proofreader for each edition. Now that the formalities are out of the way, time for the rest of the newsletter! For this edition, you will be able to find out even more about the wiki’s favorite fan works, such as the Squishy Vic Series, The Drewton Legacy, and much more! Interested in the departure of Karen Traviss from Star Wars writing? We have an essay about just that written by our own Unit 8311, as well as our popular Picture of the Edition and IRC Conservations sections. While many of you participate in these discussions, we nevertheless continue to bring you up-to-date information about new policy proposals, new policies, and more of the wiki’s happenings, such as its continued improvement efforts. The reception of our latest editions has been overwhelmingly positive, so we would like to thank you for continuing to take the time to give feedback on the newsletter. We hope to continue this trend, and the best way for us to know how we are doing is for this feedback to continue as well. Anytime you want to commend on this edition, we very much encourage you to do so in the User Comments section. Anything you have to say is welcome! As always, thank you for reading the Completely Unofficial Star Wars Fanon Newsletter. We truly value your commitment to us, and we hope that you will continue to value our commitment to you! |
