New upload page Edit

The image upload stuff that you just put in looks nice, but I can't help but think it's going to complicate things. • Could you take a look at something else for me? Template:App here has a default setting to show everything and allow you to hide it, whereas on Wookieepedia the default is to have it hidden and allow you to show it. Lack of IP edits Edit

Hey Michael. I don't know if you saw my response to the comment you left on my blog, so I just wanted to let you know that the reason SWF only hasn't really had any IP edits lately is because a setting has been enabled requiring those who edit to have a confirmed e-mail address, which means only registered users can edit. Uberfuzzy told me this was due to the vandalism over the summer, although that was through registered accounts, not IPs, so this measure doesn't make much sense to me. I've asked Uberfuzzy if there's an ETA on when this will be reversed, since it's not fair to restrict editing only to registered users. - Brandon Rhea ^(talk) 21:08, October 26, 2009 (UTC)

Re: Site notice Edit

We haven't put a policy proposal or anything like that in the site notice for months now because we've been using Template:News on the main page. The site notice has been used for more fun, community-oriented things. It's not fair to take the short story contest out yet since we typically spam the wiki awards to death, and we want to make sure that the wiki awards host (something fun and community oriented) is chosen promptly. A third line is just excessive. I really don't see the need for a third, especially when the recent changes and Template:News have been doing a fairly good job lately of getting people to see CTs. Hi, i've gone through my article, Jacen Reginald Tasslor and tweaked it a bit, could you let me know if I can have the cleanup tag removed, and if not what I need to do to get rid of it. User page policy Edit

Hey, since you asked me (quite awhile ago lol) to look over Star Wars Fanon:User page policy, I finally did. I made a few tweaks and additions, removals, etc. and created User:Brandon Rhea/User page. This would eliminate Star Wars Fanon:Userbox policy, because I got rid of the silly user box rule. What do you think about keeping/removing the video restrictions from Star Wars Fanon:Video policy? Also, I added in the bit about how user talk pages need to be archived, so that would eliminate most of Star Wars Fanon:Archival policy. What would you think about also proposing that the bit about article talk pages go into the MOS? That way we can get rid of the archival policy, thereby cutting down on a few policies (lots of policies about little things are intimidating IMO). Let me know what you think. Please HelpEdit

I don't know what is going on, but my articles that have character infoboxes are over on the left side of the screen instead of the right. Everyone else's articles that have character infoboxes still appear on the right. I have just flat out deleted the infobox and repasted it and it didn't fix anything.
