• Hey, Jasca, thanks for taking a look at Merkory Chal'wala. I sorted out the bullet points in the infobox and in the BtS, but I have a few questions. I believe I sorted out the punctuation and grammar in the introduction, if I haven't, can you please tell me what more needs to be done? And, lastly, you say fix the categorization, but could you please tell me what's wrong with it? You see, I really need your help, because I really want my article to become an FA! Please can you get back to me? Thanks. Darth tom Chit 'n' Chat 10:59, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for contributing to Darth. Anyway, can you please source Image:Korin.jpg? I've always liked that image and I want to know where it's from. Thanks. --Victor Dorantes (discussion) (contributions) 21:09, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I've heard of it. Cool pic. Image:Grin.gif --Victor Dorantes (discussion) (contributions) 21:16, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Idea by Arav the Undersith and Obi Maul12

I have an idea for a event held once a year called Clean Up Week held in June 1st to June 7th. The infomation is on Brandon Rhea's talk page. Tell me if you like the idea.--Arav the Undersith (Contact Me) (Battles I've Fought). 11:32, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Meet a User

Hey Jasca, I'm asking you in advance if you'd like to be next weeks CUSWFN Meet a User? I left it a bit late this week, and don't want to next week. Would you like to? If so, please get back to me and I'll just give you a few questions. Thanks. My page iChat What I've done 20:05, 25 March 2008 (UTC) 08:16, 8 April 2008 (UTC) 06:21, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

 • OK, thanks. May I just ask a few questions? I'll ask them now.
 1. When did you first join SWFanon?
 2. How many FA's and GA's have you made?
 3. When did you become a Decreton Lord?
 4. When did you become an administrator?
 5. What do you feel are your most valuable contributions to the wiki?
 6. What was your first FA and your first GA?
 7. Where do you get your inspiration from?
 8. And anything else you would like or would care to tell us about yourself.

Thanks once again Jasca. My page iChat What I've done 20:05, 25 March 2008 (UTC) 08:16, 8 April 2008 (UTC) 16:06, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Oh, so sorry about that. As you noticed, I'm new, and I'm still working my way around what's what. I'll just make a separate page marking the particular conflict that battle took place during. Sorry again. Unsigned comment by Twilightsaber (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

[edit] Question

Why do you prefer the Chandrila Executions lowercased? It's the name of an event and a proper noun, and proper nouns have to be capitalixzed. Although it's your article, these articles are also a showcase to others. If you still prefer to have it lowercased, then I won't bother you anymore. --Michaeldsuarez (Activate Holocron) 19:50, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

I got it now, but if the title is conjectural, then what do they call the event in the history books? Historians would have to address it by a proper name, right? A historian wouldn't call World War II "that big war in Europe." --Michaeldsuarez (Activate Holocron) 20:02, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Alright. --Michaeldsuarez (Activate Holocron) 20:16, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Categorization

Hey Jasca, you need to properly categorize "An admission" please. Maybe also it could be merged into the article where it belongs instead? It's not really an article and just a quote, but it's your choice. Just be sure to properly categorize it. --Victor (talk) 16:04, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] slipknot, korn, music?

is there a reason for all the slipknot and korn pages (and other various music related categories)? i dont think its very fitting with the whole starwars setting of the wiki. if your such a fan of slipknot, why not take your pages over to http://slipknot.wikia.com and get that wiki going again? --Uberfuzzy 05:26, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Apology and Explanation

Jasca, I apologize for what I did to your article. I had meant to only preview it and leave to rid my anger towords you due to the deletion of my hardest work on star wars fanon. I do not recall you sending me a message saying it was against policy, but I should have catergorized it any way. It's just I thought I could catergorize it when I was done with it, plus I didn't know how to catergorize before. Back to the article, it was like punching holes and slashing a piece of paper with a pen when your mad. Would you really do that to someone? NO. It was all just an accident. I closed the Internet Explorer page I was on as soon as I saw it. That's all I have to say about this accident. It will honestly never happen again. Cross my saber and hope to die. [edit] Edit

In your Darth Wyyrlok article, a caption in the first non infobox image had this link in: starwars:battle of Rendili. I changed it to Battle of Rendili for you, as I assumed it was a typo. If it was purposeful, I apologize, but I don't imagine it was. I'll also be conducting a review of it, unofficially, the results of which I'll get back to you today. iChat What I've done 06:54, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Requested assistance

Crazy cook1234 requested your assistance in the section titled "tips on creating articals" above. Please respond to his request as soon as possible so he doesn't think he's being ignored by an Administrator. Thanks. - President Brandon Rhea (Pressroom) (Record) 22:43, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

 • No, he didn't. I just want to make sure that he doesn't think he's being ignored, even if it's with a simple message like "Sorry I haven't gotten a chance to respond. I'll do it as soon as I can". - President Brandon Rhea (Pressroom) (Record) 22:48, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Category

It would seem, in your article Battle of Krayt's fist, you have a redlink category. If you want to add some content that'd be good; I just made it a stub as I'm trying to cleanup redlink categories here at the moment. iChat What I've done 10:18, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

I did the same for and . With the first category, I copied and pasted all information from and changed the link and, with the second category, I copied and pasted all the information from . iChat What I've done 11:09, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
No problem. May I ask, if I create any more of your categories would you still like me to tell you? iChat What I've done 12:05, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Hey, do something I didn't before I edited the page: check the page history. Another user did that (changed it to his own page), and based on the shitty article he'd made, I tagged it for deletion. So go whine to him. --Victor (talk) 19:23, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

 • Hey Jasca. How've you been? I was looking over Duel on The Soiyo just now, and would you mind if I edited it so it follows the MoS more "cleanly" (better intro, expanded sections) and add some detail/new info here and there? [edit] Decreton Lord matters

Hey Jasca, I don’t know if you’ve been busy or anything lately, but we need you to put your opinion down on articles at the Featured Articles Nomination page. There are numerous articles that require your review, some of which already have the three out of four necessary votes. That means your vote could make them Featured Articles now that they’ve gone through our extensive reviews. When you see this, please either put your review down or let me know what’s going on. If you’re unable to fulfill your duties as a Decreton Lord, then I suggest you step down so someone else can step up. Please reply back to me as soon as you can. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 16:28, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Name changes

Hey, I wanted to get the opinion of you and the other Administrators on something. Considering we're having a few discussions lately on how there is really no sense of community involvement around here, I believe that it would be in our best interests to get rid of the title "Cabal" and restore it to the proper title of "Administrators". Truth be told, I've never liked the name Cabal and I've made that public before, but I bit my tongue and ignored it. I don't really want to do that anymore. Why am I suggesting this? It's simple. As Administrators, we stand out more than we are supposed to. It's making us seem like we're authority figures or leaders on this site. We as Administrators are not supposed to be this way. We're not meant to be able to assert authority over anyone. We're supposed to be the same as normal users, only entrusted with the ability to have certain administrative tools; nothing more, nothing less. I believe that in the eyes of many users, based on things that have been said and my own perceptions, we look too much like the dictators of this Wiki. I think the title "Cabal" helps with this as it scares people off and basically just rubs them the wrong way about us. We don't want to look like a secret collective of power holders plotting in a back room to ensure that our authority is not vanquished. We are just supposed to have editing tooks. Therefore, as said, I propose that we restore the name "Administrator" as the proper name of our titles. Please let me know whether or not you agree with this. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing back from you! - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 22:28, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

 • I'm going to be completely honest and say that I didn't think you'd be in favor of it. I'm happily surprised. File:Tongue.gif - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 23:25, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

A very fair opinion. Also, there's another article with 3/4 votes on SWF:FAN (it's actually my article File:Tongue.gif) that could use your review if you have time. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 23:32, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Activity

Out of curiousity, is your activity going to pick up at all again? At the time I leave this message, you haven't made a contributions in over a month, so I'm just wondering as to when you're going to be active again. There's a lot of things that you could pitch in with lately, including various policy proposals, numerous requests for deletion and quite a few articles on SWF:FAN. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 02:28, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Policies

Hello Jasca, I need you to do me a favor. If you're going to use your administrative powers (which you really should be doing more often now that you're active again, in my opinion), please be sure to give our policies another quick read through as many of them have changed since you have been inactive. For example, we no longer delete uncategorized articles as it was decided by a majority vote that it's completely unnecessary to do so. Now, the categorization policy just says that an article needs to be categorized and it says how to do so, but it does not give room for administrators to delete the articles. Now, if someone finds an uncategorized article, they simply categorize it themselves such as they would on Wookieepedia or other wikis. Thanks, Jasca. [edit] Decreto nomination

Just so you know, per a consensus from the Council of Seers, the good article nomination for Sith Order of Decreto has been changed to a featured article nomination as good article status is no longer required for featured status. I proposed the move because, once the review is over, this will obviously be far above good article status and more deserving of a quicker featured article status. If you oppose this, feel free to move it back, but I really don't see the point in making it go through good article nominations first. That's just twice as many reviews that would need to be conducted. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 16:56, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

 • No problem. File:Smile.gif Just so you know, I'm not making it a priority right now, and I'm the only one who actually does legitimate line-by-line/in-depth reviews of articles. Since it's an FFA, it won't be featured on the main page again, and since we have a continuous shortage of new FAs my focus is on first time FA nominations. Just wanted to give you the heads up on that in case you started to wonder why you're not really getting any reviews. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 20:31, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

I don't know if you saw it, but MPK left a review of the article on CS:Sith Order of Decreto a couple weeks ago. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 16:41, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Eras

Please,

could you give me authorization to use your fan era "Unity era" in the histories of my articles such as Timeline of Kundun's history and Kundun? I wrote them originally thinking that it was OK to create my own articles using the yet written eras, but now I know that I have to have an authorization. If not, much of my histories would have to be changed.

So, could you please give me your authorization to use this era on my articles? Thank you!

[edit] The Light Knight/Light Knight

Hello, Jasca! =]

I saw you moved the article The Light Knight to simple Light Knight, but I don't think that's correct... You know, I know that normally words like "The" should not be placed in a name, but this character have a special, we will say, "situation". I'll place here what I sad to Brandon Rhea when I was creating the article, so you can analyse and think again if this move is the correct thing to do:

Hello, Bradon!
Can I put "The Light Knight" as a name instead of simple "Light Knight"? Because it's truly a nickname, not a class name or something like. So, as example: in the question "May I speak with Brandon?" it's incorret to say "May I speak with the Brandon?", considering it's personal name. But in the case of The Light Knight, the correct form would be "May I speak with The Light Knight?" instead of "May I speak with Light Knight?".
I hope you understand =] Momergil (Talk) 13:39, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Brandon's answer was just:

I put conjecture on it, so it's fine. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 00:37, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
 • I hope you understand it too! =] Waiting for an answer! Momergil (Talk) 19:29, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I'll do it =] Momergil (Talk) 20:17, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Tidy-up/questions

Hey, hope all is well with you. Just wanna say thanks for taking the time to read my post as well as taking the time to do a tidy up my three articles, they look good. Two things: first, the way you did the quotes on Kentell Leknar look different to the layout of other quotes on fanon, why the change? just curious. Second is about the layout of my paragraphs in Alpha Saber, could you link me to an example of how to best lay them out. I researched it and made some alterations a while ago but by the looks of it I guess I still got mixed up. Just one last quick thing, I’m going to be doing an edit on alpha saber to try and polish up the whole POV aspect in certain areas (this has been one of the hardest parts), when Ive made some rough adjustments, would it be possible for me to contact you about them so I could get your opinion on how they appear? Thanks heaps for your time I really appreciate it. Kindest regards, Corron Zenith (Talk) 23:34, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Ignore

Ignore this. This message is simply to go along with the "new messages" bulletin you have received because I corrected an improper category linkage that placed this page in Category:Articles by Momergil. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 16:31, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Mass delete

Jasca, you can't simply remove the MassDelete template from articles if you object to it. As the guidelines say, and these are guidelines you voted for:

"If someone objects to the tagging of the article, they can contact the person who tagged it and they can work it out together. They can call in a neutral administrator to help them decide whether it remains tagged or if it becomes untagged."
—Proposal

Please follow the guidelines in the future. Thank you. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 16:09, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Galleries

Just wanted to let you know that "Gallery of Atra-Manua combat positions" has been moved to Category:Images of Atra-Manua combat positions, since galleries are stupid. File:Tongue.gif I've put all of the images that were in the gallery into the category (and onto the talk page of the article to avoid any possible unused images), and I've changed the link on the media and images template in the article. Just to give you the heads up, I'll be doing the same with "Gallery of Sith Knights". - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 18:14, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Template removals

Just a heads up, the thing I said above about the removal of mass deletion templates also refers to the corresponding templates. I've therefore re-added the maintenance templates to Commander 348. - Brandon Rhea (talk) 01:35, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Sith Order of Decreto

I was wondering if we could talk about the Sith Order of Decreto. I ran a Star Wars RPG campaign in the Rise of the Empire Era. I had created a small Sith Empire that maintained an under-the-radar presence on Korriban. Decreto's ideology probably differs Julian's (Darth Nox), but I'm just curious about maybe including it in his backstory.Mori Ketsueki (Talk) 03:38, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome back

Hey Jasca, welcome back. Planning on staying around for awhile or are you just making a few updates? - Brandon Rhea (talk) 20:52, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

 • Awesome, sounds great. Do you not have computer access at school, or is it just too busy to juggle both? - Brandon Rhea (talk) 20:59, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

That's too bad. Oh well, at least there are breaks like now. - Brandon Rhea (talk) 21:07, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

 • Well since you were last really active back in June, we finished that mass deletion and got rid of something like 1,500 articles. We also deleted a whole bunch of unsourced and unlicensed images. We ended up deleting somewhere in the neighborhood of 4,000 images at the beginning of August because of that. We also got rid of the categorization policy, added the basics into the Manual of Style, and then kept the explanation text as a categorization tutorial. That'll be the first of a lot of tutorials to come, because right now we're basically moving away from knee jerk policy enforcement and trying to strike a balance between being very friendly and community oriented while also making sure policies are enforced, just in a, shall we say, friendlier way. I'm actually planning to roll out my ideas for a "master plan" on how to get this wiki to its fullest potential. That'll be out sometime in the next week or so. One of the major new things we've created is FanonProject, which is like WookieeProject only instead of working to update canon articles it's working to create collaborative fanon storylines. Project Cruentus was absorbed into that, and there's also Project Force Wars. Those are the only two at the moment but we expect the feature to grow. We've also revised a few policies, added a few policies, and other stuff like that. That enough info for you? =P - Brandon Rhea (talk) 23:43, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

Oh, and we also welcomed Nacen as our newest administrator. He's been doing a great job so far. - Brandon Rhea (talk) 23:48, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Power syndrome

Just so you know, the known sufferers and suspected sufferers lists in Power syndrome both said "you can help by expanding it." That's why people keep adding things to it.
