Welcome, Dkwolf27, to Star Wars Fanon, the Star Wars wiki of fan invention!

As a community, we strive to maintain a fun and creative atmosphere for all users while also maintaining a sense of encyclopedic quality that we can show off and be proud of. The best way to help with that is for you, our newest valued user, to begin creatively expressing yourself with your article writing, and to get involved with the community! Need some help with your writing? We're here to offer that help in the Writing Center! The Senate Hall can also be used for asking about anything relating to Star Wars Fanon, including help in following our policies.

You're probably saying, "How can I get involved?" There are a number of ways that you can do that, which are all listed below, so we encourage you to check those out! Very importantly, there are also a number of policies that you will need to be cognizant of and agree to follow so you can have the best time possible, and to help make our great wiki even greater!

Star Wars Fanon is not about administrators, nor is it about the people who have been given accolades or awards. This wiki is about you, the community member and the valued writer. So long as a sense of encyclopedic standard is maintained, this wiki will continue to be the absolute best it can be, especially once you get involved in our community!

Joining the communityEdit

Hey Dkwolf27! Sorry if this added message seems a bit overwhelming after the huge welcome message you just received, but what I wanted to say is important enough to re-emphasize it here. I wanted to make sure you were as aware as possible of the fantastic community we have here on the wiki. There is literally so much to do beyond just working on your own articles. I definitely don't want to sound like I'm suggesting you shouldn't work on your own articles, but there's a larger community out there too and we'd all love for you to get involved! If you have any questions about the community, which I strongly encourage you to participate in, don't hesitate to ask me. Thanks, and once again welcome to Star Wars Fanon! – -- Brandon Rhea (Talk) 17:31, December 20, 2011

Block Edit

Dialog-error You have been blocked from editing for 1 week. We do not cater to interwiki politics here; if a user is an administrator on another wiki from which you were blocked, you may not contact them regarding said block on this wiki. It is considered harassment.

To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. GoodwoodDebating Society12,014 Edits 18:31, December 20, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Blog postsEdit

Sorry mate, but you're asking the wrong bloke. I stay the kriff away from blogs; at most I may reply to someone else's blog if they're offering free money or something, but that's about it. Your best bet is to ask this schmuck. Wink GoodwoodDebating Society12,014 Edits 04:01, January 9, 2012 (UTC)

Vote struck Edit

Hey Dkwolf27! I'm really sorry about this, but I had to strike out your vote here. Per the Star Wars Fanon:Voting policy a user must have 100 mainspace (or article) edits. Unfortunately, you only have ninety-two (92). Please feel free to remove my striking once you have eight more edits. Again, sorry if I seem really picky, I realize you'll probably get enough soon. Thanks Savage1138 01:01, January 11, 2012 (UTC)

  • I noticed that you undid Savage's striking of your vote. While you do in fact possess the required edits now, that was probably not the way to go about things. I have reverted your edit, reinstated your vote, and added a statement attesting to the fact that you meet the policy. If there was a lesson in all this, it would be that you probably should have contacted either Savage or an administrator so that we could settle this for you. Just a word of advice. Hello Edit

Hi, I'm guessing you are a Mando by all the stuff on your page. So am I. My Mandalorian name is the same as my username: A'tin Ordo. I just wanted to say hey to a fellow Mandalorian. --Atin Ordo (Talk) 22:24, January 11, 2012 (UTC)

Helping each other Edit

Well, I'm writing some books myself. They are about my Mandalorian persona, and my Mando Clan on Xbox Live. So far, I've finished one book, and I'm on the second. They aren't published, obviously, but I would hope for them to be one day... Mandalorians haven't really been treated fairly in the Star Wars Universe. Hence the TV show "The Clone Wars". But maybe we can give each other insight or something like that.--Atin Ordo (Talk) 17:49, January 20, 2012 (UTC)

Re:Family tree Edit

Hey, I've imported the templates from Wookieepedia, so you can use them the same way as there.TK-999 (Talk) 19:26, August 27, 2012 (UTC)

It's {{FamilyTree}}, not Family infobox.TK-999 (Talk) 09:47, August 28, 2012 (UTC)
Done—I had to circumvent the template in existence.TK-999 (Talk) 09:37, September 1, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Crossovers Edit

Hm. Reading over it, everything up until the Voldemort portion could technically slide. However, everything after and including the Voldemort portion smacks of blatant crossover. I see no harm in using names from other series as a nod or an homage (Breaking Dawn the group home for the mentally-ill, anyone?), but specifically mentioning the involvement of HP characters, particularly main characters, is where it crosses the line. Though, before it goes under the knife (or guillotine), ask Brandon and see what he thinks. Trak Nar Ramble on 03:43, September 5, 2012 (UTC)

  • My read of it is that it’s not a crossover. To be a crossover, the characters referenced in that article like Voldemort and Harry Potter would have to literally be the exact same Voldemort and Harry Potter as seen in the book and film series. For example, Harry Potter and Voldemort are in a duel at Hogwarts so intense that they open up a rip in the space time continuum and are transported to the Star Wars galaxy. That's a crossover. In this case, they have the same name and the same basic story, but they’re not actually Harry Potter and Voldemort from the books and films. Is it unoriginal and lacking in imagination? Yes. Do I think it’s a crossover, though? No. p.s. I endorse Trak's Breaking Dawn idea. - Brandon Rhea@Wikia(talk) 03:48, September 5, 2012 (UTC)

Clone Commando: Death DefiantEdit

I'm back once again, and I've been writing a lot since last time. I submitted the first chapter of a new book I'm writing to Ataru, and he seems to like it. I was wondering if you'd like to take a look. :)
