I seem to have problems uploading photos, because when I put the correct info, source, and whatnot, it will turn out not the way I wanted it to be. For example, I recently uploaded a modified photo of Jaden Korr's Force ghost, and the summary screwed up on me. If your wondering if I read the image policy, I did. Hi, Brandon. I'll take a look at it during this long weekend. From a cursory glance it looks good and is what I envision for the articles on the wook, too. I know I haven't been around much lately, but workload has been substantial this semester and some real-life issues have kept me offline save to do some minor Inqery work. Regardless, I'd be happy to look at it. The only suggestion I saw from my first browse was that there were no quotes, but that's it. Otherwise, it looks good. Hi,

I just wanted to ask in how far my article needs to be cleaned up. Don't take this as a protest, I'm fine with the fact that my article might not be up to standards, but I sure would like to now in how far.

First of all, you say that my article is not written in the past tense. As far as I can see, it is. The only disputable part I can find is: "would become Dark Lord and Emperor in personal union, and be the pioneer of intergalactic travel,". This was, however, written from the perspective of the time of the Rebel Wars and Separatist Wars and Galactic Civil War etc, and what I'm meaning to say is "[Little did he know at that time that] later on, he would become Dark Lord and Emperor in personal union [...]". The only reason I didn't put that chunk in there is that I didn't want the introduction to look like "Let's put as many idioms in there as possible to get a 200 word introduction and make it a featured article" (which is of course what I am aiming for).

Also, it says something about out-of-universe remarks. Well, the only out-of-universe remarks are in "Behind the Scenes", and as far as I'm concerned, they're supposed to be there. If you can find any other ones, please let me know so I can edit them out of there.

Then, I'm supposed to fix Manual of Style, Layout Guide, grammatical and spelling errors. I can't find any of those, and I claim to be pretty good in grammar and spelling, and after having read through both MoS and LG I can't find any mistakes in the text, so if you could clear me up on that I'd appreciate it too.

That does help, thanks, although I think I'll keep the list and the two present tense things. Wikipedia would have that too, like for example "Joseph A. Bloggs was born 1762 in Springfield, XY. Raised as a simple farmer's boy, he would soon become President of the United States.", or something along those lines. But if it's absolutely necessary, I'll change it to "he was soon to become" which isn't completely past tense either (I think it's called "indicative past-modal-conditional present", if I'm not mistaken)--Friedebarth^{Talk to me, <insert name here>. Yay! You read my blog =D. But apart from that, I think that as soon as I have the right to vote I'll put the list issue up for review in the forums. I think that regulation is nonsensical: For some content, a bullet list is the best option. That's why Wikipedia has lists, even in some of its featured articles (and I hope you agree that, what's good enough for Wikipedia should be good enough for this wiki ;-)). For these names and such, bullet lists are the best-structured option and also the easiest on the eye. I completely agree that a normal (non-list) article that consists to a large part of lists can't possibly be a good article, but completely disallowing lists in order for an article to become featured is, in my opinion, contraproductive, unencyclopedic and basically utter nonsense.--Friedebarth^{Talk to me, <insert name here>. Hello it's Powerstaark here. Once again I have made a heroic attempt to upload an image and once again I crashed down in flames. Could you help me please? I was to put an image on my Carmen Conrose article. The picture I'm looking for can be found on Google images and if you type in Twi'lek_jedi_green.jpg you'll have no trouble finding it. I'd like that image to be in the place where the character box would usually be though I don't really care about the character box itself. When I came across the article Malakaii Korr, it was a complete and utter mess. The author of the article was so kind enough to let me fix it for him, not. If you take a look at the before and after, you will be stunned at how much effort it took me to fix it all in two days. However, as far as the red links problem goes, I think the author of the article should fix himself because I have other problems to attend to. Now, the problem is to tell the author of the article to get on the ball and fix the article, or else it will be a candidate for speedy deletion. Brandon, I've now read most of the way through it. So far, I like it a lot. I do have a couple minor questions, but that probably has more to do with the fact that I am not overly familiar with your alternate storyline. I was curious if you would permit me to either give it a copyedit or send some corrective thoughts to you just to fix up a couple of things, such as perpetual "the year..." or "outside of", etc. I did not want to leave open objections of the FAN page, although I probably should at least look at it. Let me know what you think is best. Hi,

First of all, thanks so much for the barnstar :). About the template: Well, you see how overcrowded Darth Vicious was with maintenance templates? I have a fairly big screen and frankly all I saw was those templates (which is very distracting and also confusing especially for inexperienced readers who are new to wikis, or even the web). Wikipedia solves that problem by condensing multiple problems into one very simple and not too eye-catching template, so effectively, I can get specific with the problems in an article without filling out a standard size print page ;) I think this might help make messed up articles look less stuffed with templates.

But I'm still in the process of adjusting the template(s) and completing them, so don't be dazzled if you find loads of "Wikipedia" in there, that'll be replaced or deleted if it's not needed. ;)-- 22:47, December 4, 2009 (UTC)

It'll make stuff more easily overviewable for authors, people who try to correct stuff et cetera... ...just leave it be for a sec, you can still delete it if you really must later on. I've realised that. I am going to customise it and make it fit better, or, in other words, fanonify and de-wikify it. I do know that I use much stuff from Wikipedia and it may seem like I am trying to turn this into a copy of it, but I just never get the time to properly do what I want to do. Thing is I prefer doing this stuff in the wiki editor than in the notepad, which is why I put it here first, then want to change it, not vice versa.
