For whatever reason, I feel compelled to give another update on Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One. It's probably because of the skepticism that I would imagine is out there that I'll actually release something on (or before) September 30th—which I will! It's justifiable skepticism, but this is my way of showing that things are actually happening.
I gave most of my story-related updates already, so for now I figured I'd just give you some stats. This is for you if you're interested, but is also my way of tracking my progress with the story in a way that's public—which gives me some degree of self-accountability.
Right now, here are the current stats for the first three and a half chapters:
- Word count: 12,453
- Page count: 27
It's currently in novella territory, but I'm sure I'll get to that 40,000 word novel threshold soon enough.
