"So, we're up against Trekk Erron of the Thousand Blades."
—Darth Kyosox

Trekk Erron was the son of Krad and Shalya Erron, born in 2,951 ABY. Like his father, he was also something of a Jedi prodigy. After his father's death at the hands of Darth Arzyss in 2,951 ABY, Trekk had been raised by his mother and trained to be a Jedi by his uncle. Also, like his father, Trekk discovered to use his genetic Force Power: Force Xempar.

[edit] Early Life

Trekk was born and lived on Coruscant for 10 years, although he didn't live a "normal" life. Unlike his father, he was known to be a powerful Force-Sensitive. Because of this, he had pressure to live up to his father's illustrious reputation. This humbled him as a child and made his very desprate to begin his training. After his mother finally brought him to the Jedi temple when he was 9, he met a group of younglings just a bit older than him. When he was told that he was going to join the next year, Trekk became excited, and nervous. He was told that he was going to begin training with his uncle in six months, when he was ten.

When the time came, Trekk left home to live in he Jedi Temple. As an initiate, he excelled through his training quickly. After covering the basics, however, he learned that this way was difficult. He wasn't the only one to have trouble with his training. His cousin, Lasaya Vesson, along with others in their group, also had difficulty with their lessons. They were all going to practice together, but Trekk, unusually, seemed to be one step behind. He then decided to stop training with his peers and decided to learn only from his uncle.

Within a three months, Trekk finished his basic lessons, along with the other initiates. Trekk had learned minor use of the lightsaber, the Force, and different survival skills. In thirty days, they were going to be chosen by Jedi Knights or Masters to be their Padawans. While Trekk and Lasaya were already chosen (Lasaya is to be trained by her aunt, Trekk's mother), the others had no idea who they were going to end up with. When the day came, Trekk was given a gift—his father's silver lightsaber.

[edit] Learning the Path of the Jedi

Now that he was a Padawnan, Trekk, learned more basics of the Lightsaber and the Force. The Jedi Battlemaster (after Krad's death) was Racen Vesson. From him, Trekk learned more about the use of the Lightsaber than the other Padawans who only had lessons with him. Trekk's lightsaber skills grew quickly, as Lasaya's skill in the Force grew quickly due to her master being the head Force instructor. Although Trekk could out-duel the other Padawans, his cousin, Lasaya, could likewise defeat him and the others through the use of the Force. This sparked a somewhat friendly rivalry between them. Racen and Shalya thought they would try to get better in each other's fields, but instead, the continued to learn what they were prodigies in.

In their other training, Trekk could catch on and accomplish more things than the others due to his having the strongest of Force-Sensitivity. However, he lacked the skill and finesse for many abilities, unlike Lasaya. When it came to lightsaber, Trekk wanted to learn no other style than Form XIX: Krij'Val, the form his famed father created. Being far too advanced for him, Racen taught him the very earliest basics, which involved Soresu and Makashi. He promised that he would later teach him elements Ataru, Djem So, and Juyo to complete the style, but he had to learn and master either Echani or Teräs Käsi before he moved on. Racen explained to Trekk how Krij'Val worked, and, eventually, Trekk ultimately accepted that he had to wait and be patient in order to master it.

When it came to him training in the Force, Trekk, could master and execute the basics better than his generation. He lacked proper skill to use higher force forms or abilities. Despite that setback, Trekk was still skilled in the Force, and a prodigy of it. Of all the Padawans, he spent the least amount of time practicing his Core Force powers, yet could execute them better than most at his level.

[edit] Mission to Lehon

File:Trekk age 13.JPG

For three years, Trekk embellished himself in the art of Lightsaber combat, not forgetting to learn his lessons about the Force, however. He became dependably proficient in Soresu and Makashi, as well as becoming adept in Teräs Käsi, the martial art he chose. His abilities with the blade echoed his masters' own, many in Jedi Order believed that Trekk would eventually replace Racen as the Battlemaster in the future, including Racen himself. As Trekk grew, he and his master went on more difficult missions to hone Trekk's skills. However, in 2,665 ABY, Trekk was chosen to undergo a lead mission without his master for the first time. He was in charge of a three-man team, which also included his cousin, Lasaya and one his old peers, a Human named Des'hero, who was added because of his skills in between Trekk's and Lasaya's. Trekk wasted no time preparing for his mission, but before he left, he took his father's lightsaber (which was now his) and briefly practiced Djem So, the style he had to master next, and had difficulty with. After he finished, Trekk attended the debriefing about the mission's objective, he learned that he was to activate a gravity well generator around a particular planet called Lehon. The generator itself existed in a ancient temple. Also to retrieve the Holocron of Gesuua, and ancient Jedi Master who once went there. To Trekk's disappointment, it seemed that it was a simple retrieval misson and too low for adept students.

[edit] On the Surface

"Ameeta a So'as! Eveto me'suka fuwan gre'to! Unskee fwhe keton!"
—Rakatan warrior battle speech.

The next day, Trekk, Lasaya, and Des'hero took a transport shuttle to the outer rim planet of Lehon, once known as Rakata and Rakata Prime. When they landed on the planet, they saw ships that had designs over 5,000 years old. When he found a suitable place to land the shuttle, Trekk and his team got out to begin their missions. To start, Des'hero activated the holo-vid that gave them instructions on where to go. Around the time that the holo-vid deactivated, Trekk and his team were assaulted by an alien species they identified as Rakatans. After a short, yet brutal battle, the team pressed on to their destination. With her keen Force Sense, Lasaya requested that the team stop, while she put them all under a Force Concealment. About 100 yards ahead, three full grown rancors were battling, with another 6 in the general as well. It was then that both Trekk and Des'hero were grateful for her keen powers.

As they left the rancors lairs, a sigh of relief fell over the team, and they decided to rest. About ten minutes later, they were, once again, ambushed by Rakatans. While Trekk and Lasaya were hasting themselves to prepare for another battle, Des'hero sat, and activated a remote. In an instant, a plasma sheild over their resting place activated, and the Rakatans were incinerated. While Trekk and Lasaya were resting, Des'Hero was setting up a shield for protection against another assault. At this time, everyone was grateful for Des'hero's field skills.

[edit] Awaiting Execution

" Mask'a Fwenwa Ketoone!"
—The One's Force chant to place his language into Trekk's mind.

Exhausted, Trekk and his team decided not to stay in one spot for too long. After an hour of walking, they had finally reached an open area, with a structure in it's center. Des'hero had identified it as the Temple of the Ancients. As they approached the temple, they were again swarmed by blue-tinted Rakatans - this time with massive numbers. Although they had fought their best, fatigue had caught up with them, and they were captured, and rendered unconscious.

When Trekk awoke, Lasaya and Des'Hreo were still asleep. He looked at his surroundings, which were filled with corpses. Most were skeletons, but some were still decomposing. From what he saw, it looked as if they slaughtered their own people. the only difference he could tell was that instead of blueish-black, the bodies skin tone was a reddish-orange. Trekk taunted his cell guard saying what kind of people only kill their prisoners. While the guard understood him and responded, Trekk had no idea what he was saying. An hour later, and a large group of Rakatan entered the room. One of them spoke some words, and the Force began to affect Trekk by causing pain in his mind. When the Rakatan stopped chanting, Trekk began to understand what he was speaking.

[edit] Battle for Freedom

File:Krij'Val.JPG

When the Rakatan spoke again, Trekk understood. This particular Rakatan identified himself as The One. He made Trekk and his group an offer. Help them, and they're free to go. Trekk asked him for details, and The One replied bluntly: To kill the Elders. Of course, Trekk had no idea who they were, but outspokenly refused to wipe out a people. Seeing this as a chance to finally force them into submission and defeat the Elders, The One made them a second offer. Between the three of them, they had to choose who would fight him. If he lost, they were free to leave, and their attacks on him would cease. If he lost, he had to submit to his rule and act as his subordinates. He also made a third option however. If he refused, it would be his still friends who would be killed, but he would be free to go.

A short while later, Lasaya and Des'hero awoke. Trekk told them of their situation, but hid the information of the third option from them. Trekk, being the best duelist out of the three, decided to duel him. He was released and drew his fathers' silver lightsaber—except it had turned blue, with an Electric-Effect instead of his father's famous Ice-Effect. Amazed, Trekk had a new confidence. Although his blade hit The One's, it didn't cut through. Lasaya yelled out that he's using the Force as a guard. Preparing to continue his duel with The One, Trekk held his lightsaber in a frontal position, ignited, and pointed towards the ground. Trekk was preparing to execute the most difficult and powerful fighting stance in Form XIX: Krij'Val, the Yuo Iria.

Trekk took a deep breath. this style could kill the user if executed improperly, or would leave the user open to any sort of attack. Trekk waited for The One to make a move. When he did, Trekk executed Yuo Iria. His blade looked like fifty blades at once—all in unison. Then it looked like 100 blades, crossing each other. The biggest problem was, Trekk couldn't be seen. Lasaya then realized that one of the features of the stance was force speed. When Trekk attacked, The One suffered so many attacks without even seeing his attacker that he couldn't even stand anymore.

It was not the attack that kept him from moving, it was Trekk's lightsaber. It's "Electric-Effect" electrocuted and paralyzed his body. Trekk, however could barely stand after using the Yuo Iria stance. Using the Force consecutively for so long, especially Force Speed, put major strain on his body. The One couldn't even say that he was free to go, but the other Rakatans knew what had happened. They released Trekk and his friends, and they once again, headed for the Temple of the Anicents.

[edit] Meeting the Elders

"A six hour ritual is the quickest way to enter the temple...How does that makes sense?"
—Des'hero ridiculing the Elder's six hour long ritual.

Trekk was tired, and was moving with the help of Des'hero. When they had finally reached the temple, it was sealed. A frustrated groan fell over the group. Lasaya sensed that there were others who could help them. When they approached some sort of compound, they were met by a holocron that depicted a reddish-orange skinned Rakatan. Trekk asked if they were the Elders. They confirmed it, and asked what business they had there. Trekk asked about the temple, and if someone could open it. The holocron then disappeared and the doors opened. Trekk Lasaya and Des'hero reluctantly entered the compound.

When they did, they were met by five red skinned Rakatans, apparently the leaders. They explained their situation, and their run-in with The One. Believing he was telling the truth, the Elders granted access to the Temple of the Ancients. When they arrived at the temple, they expected to enter right away. However they soon discovered that the ritual took 6 hours to open the seal.

[edit] Inside the Temple of the Ancients

File:A New Power.JPG
Trekk, controlled by Krad, using an unknown Force Power to battle Sith spirits inside the Temple of the Ancients.
"It's useless—put away your blades. These are not Sith of flesh and blood, they are of the Force itself."
—Trekk empowered by his father, Krad Erron.

After the Elder's ritual, Trekk, Lasaya and Des'hero entered the temple. Once inside, if was obvious that the place was rampant with the Dark Side. As Trekk walked, he had periodic, but brief visions of his father killing Sith. These made his off-balance, and Trekk requested that Lasaya, with her keener Force Sense abilities, to take the lead. Moments later, the ghost of one of the Sith killed by Trekk's father appeared, and attacked the young Jedi.

At the same moment again, Krad Erron entered Trekk. "Stand Firm! I will guide you", Krad told him. Trekk, willfully controlled by Krad, put his blade away, and told the same to Lasaya and Des'hero. Because his voice sounded completely different, it truly being Trekk's father—Krad—who actually spoke, Lasaya and Des'hero looked back at Trekk. When they saw him they didn't just deactivate their lightsabers, they completely dropped them. Trekk's voice had completely changed, his hair and clothes lightly stood up as if he was in water, and above all, his eyes had glowed a ghostly white.

When the Sith ghosts attacked with their super-charged Force attacks, "Trekk" not only copied them, but blasted it back at them. The power he was using is one never seen before. Lasaya and Des'hero could haer whispering, faintly. It grew louder and louder. When the Sith spirits were defeated, "Trekk" looked back at them. Lasaya and Des'hero couldn't move. "Trekk" simply said "come". Lasaya and Des'hero followed "Trekk" as they ran into more and more Sith spirits. Finally, they arrived in a room deep within the temple's catacombs. Strangely, the feeling of the Light Side became evident and got stronger. Inside the room, was a Force Nexus. Lasaya and Des'hero were curious about it, until "Trekk" told them to come no further.

The room seemed to have no exit. "Trekk" walked to a seeming blank wall. As he raised both hands, he blasted the wall in. A hidden room was there, with a special Holocron on top of a console. "Trekk" took it, activated the console, and turned to Lasaya and Des'hero once again. He told them that it was now time to leave, and "Trekk" ran out with Lasaya and Des'hero following. When they reached the outside of the temple, "Trekk's" whole body began to glow intensely. With a small force surge followed by an explosion, Trekk was on the ground and unconscious. Des'hero picked him up, and headed towards their transport. On the way, they walked past a ship that looked as if it had been crushed by an avalanche. Although interested, Des'hero and Lasaya decided that getting Trekk back to the ship was more important.

[edit] Knighthood

Five years later, when Trekk was 18, the time for his ascension to Knighthood came. For five years, Trekk honed his skill in Form XIX: Krij'Val. He decided to master the Yuo Iria stance in Krij'Val, and during his missions, became widely known as Trekk Erron of the Thousand Blades. Trekk had mastered nearly every aspect of Krij'Val. Only Mastering the Ataru aspect is what he hadn't fully mastered. Regardless, he was still impressively skilled and a highly advanced adept in Ataru. He also became known within the Jedi Order for his unusual "Electric-Effect" lightsaber. However, he still had not learned his genetic Force Power, Force Xempar. He had asked his father's spirit about the matter, but his father refused to tell him it's secret, telling him that it's secrets cannot be told, but must be learned. In short, even if Krad had told him how to unlock it, he would never be able to truly master it until the had mastered the power in himself first.

Due to his discipline form learning Krij'Val, Trekk's had patience and was able to take the lessons to heart. After an hour of meditating, it was time to go to his Knighting ceremony. He, along with 12 other Padawans including Lasaya and Des'hero, attended their final trial for their fields. The trials they faced were:

File:JKTrekk.JPG
Trekk, age 18, at the time of his Knighthood.

Primary Trial

  • Trial of the Flesh (Trekk)
  • Trial of the Mind (Lasaya)
  • Trial of the Spirit (Des'hero)

Secondary Trial

  • Trial of Courage (Trekk)
  • Trial of Knowledge (Lasaya)
  • Trial of Skill (Des'hero)

Final Trial

  • Trial of the Jedi (all participants)

Of the six who successfully passed the trials, Trekk, Lasaya and Des'hero were among them. Trekk was knighted to be a Jedi Guardian, Lasaya was knighted to be a Jedi Consular, and Des'hero was knighted to be a Jedi Sentinel. Now as Knights, the three were, once again, sent on a mission together. After another three years of training for proficiency, the three were sent to Nar Shaddaa to deal with an unknown criminal element.

[edit] 2,962 ABY

[edit] Scum of the galaxy

"We were suppose to find a good merchant dealer here, but I can't remember his name. Too many "ky's" and "kay's" in it."
—Des'Hero

The only thing Trekk knew about Nar Shaddaa, besides it being known as the homeworld for the scum of the galaxy, was that it was also the homeworld of his mother and uncle. From what they both told him about it, he wasn't too excited to visit. To help avoid attracting attention, Trekk had disguised his ship to look like a smugglers, right down to the illegal elimination of his ship's identification code.

A criminal power once investigated by the master of Trekk's old master, the Council member, Jedi Master Alliese Vesson, the true power behind it was never revealed. On the ship, Trekk surprised everyone by giving them costumes to where over their normal clothes. Ragged, dirty clothing that could pass for a refugee's. Lasaya in particular asked why, Trekk answered that about twice as much of this "organization's" activity was seen around the refugee sector.

The refugee sector covered about 5 square miles. Immigrants from around the galaxy—Duros, Iridonia, Naboo, Kashyyyk, and even Mandalore—were found here. These remnant refugees are those who suffered them the ongoing Second Galactic Civil War. For safety, Trekk said that he wanted the disguises on before they even entered the Y'Toub System. Criminal "Inspections" were quite common in Hutt Space.

Sure enough, when they entered Hutt Space, they had been requested to be boarded for "inspection". Trekk allowed it to help avoid suspicion, for few would deny the Hutts. When they boarded, they basically plundered the ship for anything useful they could get their hands on. To their disappointment, they could see nothing worth value, as Des'Hero was blinding their sight with the Force. When Trekk was cleared to land, they got a view of the overall area.

To hide their Jedi identities, they looked for a weapons dealer merchant. Des'Hero was suppose to have his name, but it was too unusual for him to properly remember. The best equipment for the cheapest prices was a corner shop owned by an old-timer Talorta. He was blind, but has sonic sensors to "see". For the large quantity of credits he was given, he equipped them with advanced, top-of-the-line weapons, subtle flex armor, and false identifications.

To the naked eye, they appeared to be young mercenaries. Trekk was armed with a dual-barrel Rawk Blaster, thermal detonators, Electromesh armor and carried a 1.50 meter (5.00 foot) Electrostaff. Lasaya was armed with two illegal MSD-32 disruptor pistols, a stealth field generator, Felenar armor and concealed knuckle plate vibro blades on both of her hands. Des'hero was armed with two .90 meter (3.00 foot) arm blades, apparently a specialty of the Talorta's race. Along with that, he carried the medical supplies, a poison dart wrist launcher and rare Death Watch pheasa armor.

[edit] Search for the underworld empire

Trekk wasted no time investigating the identity of the underworld empire which seemed to be thriving in Hutt Space on Nar Shaddaa. To avoid calling attention to themselves, they split up to search in neighboring sectors of the Nar Shaddaa for two weeks. They also decided to use any methods necessary to blend in with Nar Shaddaa. Trekk sent Lasaya to search the refugee sector, where most of the activity had been reported. Des'hero searched the Docking Bays and cantinas. Trekk searched the more criminally infested areas known as the Toerways, where off worlders rarely are welcome.

[edit] The Toerways

"You've got some gall waltzing around these territories, off worlder. My territory."
—Niasé Vhel

With Lasaya and Des'hero having little success in their investigation, Trekk searched an especially violent area of Nar Shaddaa called the Toerways, the nesting ground for the more powerful gangs and criminal organizations on Nar Shaddaa, though most are intergalacticlly minor. When Trekk started his way into the Toerways, several thugs attempted to mug him, only to end up dead, as Trekk easily dispatched them.

To avoid more conflict, Trekk started with the smaller gangs before venturing to the stronger criminals. One after the other, no matter who he questioned, bribed, or even threatened, he could yield no information of a vast underworld activity. As Trekk moved up to the higher groups, he was met with more opposition. Some attacked him for entering, coming near, or even passing their hideouts. Trekk's skill always made short work of thugs, and the ease of his victories spread quickly.

Niasé Vhel, leader of the Shadow Helix

After four days in the Toreways, Trekk found himself at a dead end without so much as a lead. As he was approaching the area where the publicly strongest criminal entities dwelled, he was immediately intercepted by several men clothed from head to toe in jet-black clothing. As he prepared to kill the interlopers, a sniper's rifle shot Trekk's blaster before he could even grab it.

Seeing no other way out, Trekk armed his Electrostaff, an exotic weapon which surprised those around him. Utilizing Krij'Val in his form, Trekk, had little resistance from the mobsters, thought they were holding their own defensively. As Trekk prepared to attack again, a vibro-dagger appeared in front of his neck as such a speed, Trekk could react in time to avoid it, and almost couldn't sense it at all.

[edit] The Shadow Helix

"It's obvious from the show of your skills that you're no ordinary off worlder, so what exactly is your purpose here?"
"It is of no concern of yours. With that smug face of yours, you act as if you know."
"Everything here is my concern. After all of your racing around in the Toerways, now you act as if you're trying to keep something secret."
"Perhaps, but I have no desire to speak to you."
"So be it... Jedi."

—Niasé Vhel conversing with Trekk Erron

Holding the dagger at his throat was a woman with a less than amused expression on her face, berating Trekk for entering her territory. Although Trekk felt that he could escape without injury, he decided to play along, hoping to get information from them. While inside the prison cell of their hideout, the same woman came back, inquiring of his purpose there. After a brief conversation, Trekk discovered that she was Niasé Vhel, leader of the strongest criminal organization on Nar Shaddaa. After learning of he status, he had made it clear that he did not want to speak to her, preferring to talk to the more susceptible subordinates.

This attitude quickly changed at the end of their conversation, when he was left shocked by the last statement of Niasé, who revealed that she already knew that he was a Jedi. (TBC)
