The Treaty of Abelone was a meeting called by Confederacy Council member Arlan Darlak on Abelone to discuss plans to remove Count Dooku from power.
The meeting[]
Darlak himself chaired the meeting, comprising various high ranking members of the Confederacy who shared his views of Dooku and the Sith. Darlak's ally, the Sith apprentice Arula Dru was also there, having just informed Darlak of the failure to capture the Sith ship Might of the Sith. Darlak informed his allies of his plan to attack Sluis Van, one of the Confederacies main shipyards and capture the Subjugator-class heavy cruiser Annihilator. However, unknown to those present at the meeting, they had been overheard by Dark Acolytes Asajj Ventress and Sabyrne Fen, who then planned to assassinate Darlak.
The two acolytes followed Darlak as hge left the meeting but were intercepted by Arula and they fought her and she brought enough time for Darlak and his allies to escape before she joined them. Ventress and Fen then joined Dooku on Kaon and informed him of Darlak's plan but Darlak had acted quickly and attacked Sluis Van, capturing the Annihilator.
