Third Edition tour

The Third Edition tour was the last tour ever performed by the DeMoin Metal band SlipKnoT in their twenty-two year history together. The tour began in 67 ABY shortly before the release of their third album, Third Edition and lasted until 69 ABY. Although originally planned to last only a year, the tour was extended three fold due to massively popular demand by the bands fans. The band, fully aware that it was common knowledge amongst SlipKnoT's fan base that the tour was the bands last, did their best to incite mini-riots at every concert they performed at; and more often than not they succeeded.
The tour was not only SlipKnoT's longest, but also their largest, visiting more planets than any of their tours before both within the Empire of the Sith Order of Decreto and the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. SlipKnoT visited not only the major galactic civilizations, but also visited hundreds of less well known planets, particularly in the final year of the tour. The band performed tracks from all three of their albums.
By the end of the tour, SlipKnoT had visited at least fifty major planets and performed over eighty four concerts on just these planets. The tour also marked the first time in ten years that SlipKnoT had publically performed on their homeworld of DeMoin, where they played seven nights in a row.
Especially for the tour, another like-minded band named Exlis Prime reunited to perform as the opening act. Like SlipKnoT, Exlis Prime disbanded after the tour.

- A keen eye individual will notice that SLipKnoT performed Before I Forget just once during the tour; obviously this is the actual song performed by Slipknot.
