[edit] Publisher's summary

The Lonely Jedi
Exiled from the Jedi Order for following Revan into battle against the Mandalorians, former Jedi Knight Marseen Toney now faces a new problem: a large, powerful criminal organization wants him dead after he overheard a confession of multiple murders from a crime lord. Going rogue, Toney begins preparations to gather a team of followers as he prepares to expose the crime lord and redeem himself to the Jedi Order. To add to his problems a Sith squadron, once his former Republic comrades, desire revenge against Toney for not joining them, Revan, and Malak in the new Sith Empire.

[edit] Behind the scenes

According to author Dalton Wylind, The Lonely Jedi was inspired by Mass Effect, a 2007 video game developed by BioWare Studios, and Assassin's Creed II, a 2009 video game developed by Ubisoft.

On November 16, 2009, Wylind sought the help of Alex Hansen in writing and editing the novella.

As of November 17, 2009, the writing of The Lonely Jedi had not yet started.
