The Flyboys was the name of a small but specialized mercenary fighter squadron around the time of the Cruentusian War. Founded by Prete Maverik, it was consistent of several individuals with heavily personalized fighter craft, and offered itself to fight for whoever was bidding highest. Usually, they were contracted by mercenary groups such as the Savi Alliance, or sometimes by the likes of the Death's Tongue Militia. They were very rarely hired by governments such as the Necasian Military or the Srav Federation due to some of their lineup consisting of deserters from both, and the fact that they often undertook operations against both. The Flyboys profited heavily from the war and although they would later breakup, the group would still continue in some shape or another well into the early days of the Galactic Republic.
