Tenk Qatar was a Jedi Knight in the time of the Sith-Imperial War. Raised in Kol Skywalker's order, Tenk was very fluent in lightsaber combat and weaponry, coming from his childhood being born into two merchant parents who sold blasters among other weapons.

He could be found carrying a regular blue lightsaber along with a shoto and explosives along with blasters, more than an average Jedi would carry making him stand out and differ from other Jedi.

[edit] Early History

Though Tenk is a Jedi Knight, he's had an unusual taste for weaponry that hasn't always gone well with his fellow Jedi. Course, being born to two merchant parents who's products were blasters and other weapons - which has allowed them to reel in quite a profit with the current war - is a good explanation to that interest; Tenk's earliest memory was when he had been gnawing on a new and empty power pack when he was a child.

With him being on Coruscant and having been gifted with the Force, it didn't take long for Tenk to be found out and then taken away to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to train as a Jedi. After that, it was kind of pretty normal, at least for a Jedi. Learn the basics under the guidance of trains from Force abilities to lightsaber combat, and then become a Padawan to a Jedi Master. It was during all this training that Tenk discovered that, while he was only average when it comes to Force abilities, his talent belonged in combat, allowing him to master the difficult dual lightsaber technique known as Jar'Kai, with him using one normal lightsaber and the shorter shoto.

[edit] During the Sith-Imperial War

As if to further back it up, the last year of Tenk's apprenticeship that had the start of the Sith-Imperial War had caused Tenk to put his training to the test, his two lightsabers cutting down Stormtroopers. However, while Tenk fought in open combat, he had his fair share of sabotage missions, his other talent in demolitions being the cause of that. Unfortunately, while Tenk performed greatly during the war, he had to experience one of war's hardships when his Master, a Rodian named Celvis Mek, ended up dying in battle four months into the war. While it had been said that Celvis was planning to keep training Tenk for another year, it had been decided that Tenk would be promoted to a Jedi Knight thanks to the war demanding more participants and the fact that Celvis had been planning to continue training Tenk before the war had started to test Tenk so.

After having turned into a Knight, Tenk had received a gift from his parents (who kept in touch with him from time to time) in the form of a Bluebolt blaster, though it was modified with a scope and other modifications. Like his other weapons, Tenk accepted it with some enthusiasm as he was going to need all the help he needed to fight this war. Having recently turned twenty-four and with the war still going on after six more months, Tenk's thoughts could be understandable.
