Tayven McCore was a Human former Jedi Knight and Galactic Republic commander during the Old Republic Era, until his disappearance in 3552 BBY. A rather eccentric, passionate, and formidable warrior, Tayven faced substantial scrutiny from many over his style and personality. He was an excellent swordsman, and a master lightsaber combat, most notably of the Ataru and Juyo forms, considered to be the best offensive saber combatant of his time. Tayven is one of the main protagonist of Star Wars: An Enigmatic Galaxy.
- Extraordinary Swordsman: Tayven was an exemplary warrior, and considered to be one of the best Knights in the order, along with his Master Yal Jano. He was an ace of several lightsaber forms, including Shii-Cho, Soresu, and Shien, but he had truly mastered Form IV: Ataru and Juyo, and was one of the best offensive combatants in the galaxy. Tayven replicated his master's tactics, channeling his hate, passion, and other dark feelings into his combat, ultimately using it as a weapon for serving the Light Side of the Force, though his saber abilities have been scrutinized by other Jedi as being to wild and aggressive.
Force Powers[]
Despite being viewed by most as a swordsman, Tayven possessed great strength in the force, reaching heights far beyond the council ever thought he could. Similar to his saber skills, Tayven utilized his inner darkness towards his Force powers as well, taking advantage of some of the Darkest Powers known, such as Force Choke, Force Crush, and the devastating Force Lightning. Thanks to Jano, Tayven developed a sense of clarity between the Light Side and Dark Side of the Force at a very young age. Tayven often refrained from using these Dark Side powers, and instead focused on improving his physical abilities with the force, such as his speed, strength, agility and leaping abilities. When pushed he has displayed incredible force enhanced speed, and even when disarmed, he employs his force in almost every attack he throws.
Other Abilities[]
Aside from his tendency to use the force in a fight, Tayven was an extremely proficient at hand to hand combat, and could easily defeat most opponents. He was incredibly strong for his size and worked hard to maintain a high level of fitness. This assisted him in combat as well, he could maintain high paced attacks while remaining energetic. His charisma and attitude made him quite the politician, as he could easily diffuse most situations with out conflict. Tayven was also a creative strategist, and even though he favored combat, he would often find battle plans that presented the least amount of possible casualties and failure.
