Carrie Fisher is way - in fact, leagues - more suitable than this Pirates garbage. :( 207.233.58.100 15:45, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

  • Keira Knightley has always been my choice for Leia. I don't like this image much either, but I'm just using it as a temporary filler. Eventually there will be manips, etc. like on the Luke Skywalker image. And besides, you're just biased against anything with Johnny Depp. Tongue - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 16:31, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

You're right, I don't like Johnny Depp, but this has nothing to do with him. Yes, he was in Pirates, but that's not the only reason the films sucked (so much to me in fact, I haven't seen beyond part of the second one). This is just a bad image choice/actor choice. Fisher would be perfectly fine for this. The Han Solo choice was great for example, but this one isn't, IMO. And it's not just Depp stuff I don't like – I love The Lord of the Rings, but I hate how Legolas is being used for Darius Dracksul or whatever his name is, it's just a bad image choice, IMO. Another I dislike (a film that has no Depp either) is your choice for Crispin Hadaack (or something) from Prince Caspian. Anyway, I just hope future image manips are good and better, more appealing. ;) 207.233.58.100 17:05, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

To be entirely off-topic, Johney Depp's rumored to be in the next Batman movie... Drewton Era-old (Drewton's Holocron) 17:25, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

    • Seriously? Can you provide a link to anything that would suggest that please? Although I like a lot of his movies, I'm not sure if Batman is right for him. --Michaeldsuarez Sabersmilygreend (Talk) (Deeds) 17:30, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

It's just a rumor, like the one about Phillip Seymour Hoffman playing Penguin, which was debunked by Hoffman. Nothing is set yet for Batman 3; Nolan doesn't even know if he'll be returning. And no, Depp wouldn't make a good anything. 207.233.58.100 17:46, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

  • According to this, he'll be back for the third, but no more after that. What was wrong with Depp's acting in POTC? Jack Sparrow was actually one of the only reasons I liked it when I first saw it. Drewton Era-old (Drewton's Holocron) 18:09, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Vic just doesn't like Depp's acting, and I can already tell you that the article you linked to is wrong because Aaron Eckhart confirmed that his character is dead. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 01:58, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

  • The link's not necessarily wrong. Nolan's said before that he intentionally left his death ambiguous so that he could use him for the third film. Drewton Era-old (Drewton's Holocron) 02:14, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

FWIW, Nolan doesn't plan for other movies when he's already working on one. Even though he left the teaser for the Joker in Batman Begins, they said that the Joker being in The Dark Knight was not official for quite awhile. Besides, Eckhart said that while they were shooting TDK, Nolan specifically told him that Two-Face was dead. He could certainly change his mind based on the ending and the foreshadowing that he could be alive, but as of right now Two-Face is dead. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 02:43, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

  • "I hate how Legolas is being used for Darius Dracksul or whatever his name is, it's just a bad image choice, IMO." It's not my fault! I promise... -Solus (Bird of Prey) 17:57, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
