Tachibana Heavy Engineering's Tactical Imperial Enforcer ground-targeting starfighter, or known as TIE/gt starfighter, was a ground-targeting bomber manufactured by Tachibana Heavy Engineering as both surface assault and heavy bombers, even as light starfighter support but not entirely trying to compete with the TIE/sa bomber, or its heavier counterpart, and heavy bomber of the Defender fighter.
Unlike the designs of the original TIE/gt starfighter used by the Old Empire, this model was equipped with heavier armour plates as well as better, modernized weaponry and a shield generator. In addition to its upgrades from its weak predecessor, it had the ability to shield itself completely from harm but costing its weapons to remain weak for a short time.
