The Tactical Imperial Enforcer/IN interceptor, simply known as the TIE Interceptor, was the standard Eclipse interceptor of the Starfighter Corps, its also the second reengineered starfighter in the Tactical Imperial Enforcer series. As its class implies, it was used for intercepting any law offenders, hostiles and possible remnants of the Alliance and Old Empire.
Based off the design of the original TIE/IN interceptor, this reengineered variant was given extra armour, better weapons as well as superior shielding to become a modernized interceptor. These fighters were considered twice as deadly as their predecessors. Equipped with four JT-X heavy laser cannons on each of its wingtips with a 115-A turbolaser on its chin.
