The Stellar Imperium was Empress Shira's attempt at re-creating the Galactic Empire. At its peak, though, it consisted of only 17 star systems, and the Imperium lasted a mere seven years. The capital was Cyalax from 22 ABY to early 29 ABY, when it was moved to an Imperial Star Destroyer.
The Imperium was a totalitarian regime and closely connected to the Sith. All of the known Sith Lords of the time were part of the Stellar Imperium. Three of them died, including Shira herself; one left the Sith and the Imperium before its defeat at the Battle of Angwel, and the fifth one, Lord Keran, was unaccounted for.

Eighty percent of the Stellar Imperium's production was military in nature and kept within the Imperium. Most of the remaining twenty percent was agricultural, with a small portion exported to independent worlds and outlying parts of the Imperial Remnant. Military service was compulsory for men and women over the age of 18 if the individual was selected for it. Force-sensitive trainees were given special training to use the Force for enhanced speed and strength and self-healing. There were also five large capital ships in the Stellar Imperial fleet.
