[edit] Names for characters

Generally, characters should have the first letters of their names and surnames capitalized.

  • Examples:
    • Obi-Wan Kenobi instead of Obi-Wan kenobi
    • Darth Revan instead of Darth revan

Any characters' titles should not be in the name of the article. Darth is not considered a title but a name, therefore it is allowed to be in the name title.

  • Examples:
    • Palpatine instead of Emperor Palpatine
    • John Smith instead of Captain John Smith

[edit] Disambiguation brackets

Round brackets (parentheses) should be used to create disambiguation articles; in that manner we can recognise characters who share the same name. Example: Revan (Jedi) and Revan (Sith). Remember to put a space before the first bracket.

[edit] Proposal

Two or more editors could want to write some fanon involving a specific character (for example you could want to write something about Revan). Proposed solutions:

1 - Create a disambiguation page (example "Revan") containing the related links (examples: Revan (MaulYoda) and Revan (Ewoksfist)) if the character has different authors.

2 - Create paraghraphs into the article (example Revan) with subdivisions to distinguish the various versions (in this manner: ==MaulYoda== ==Ewoksfist==).

[edit] Vehicles

Name vehicles, aircraft, and starships according to their designation and function, and common nickname if they have one, but do not include manufacturer name. For example: T-65 X-wing starfighter instead of Incom X-wing, or X-wing starfighter, or T-65.
