This policy in a nutshell:Don't impersonate
Impersonation is defined as a deliberate attempt to seem like another user or contributor. An example could be changing the imaginary user HumptyDumpty to Humpty-Dumpty or Humpty Dumpty. Impersonation is commonly used to create confusion in Special:Recentchanges and Histories, and therefore is considered disruption. Impersonation accounts are commonly referred to as "clones."
Accounts that are meant to resemble the names of other users, legitimate or infamous, can be expected to be blocked indefinitely. If a user creates an account that unknowingly resembles another user's name, the user can appeal the ban on his talk page and switch to a new username, clarifying his intentions.
