A good article on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki is an article that adheres to a higher standard of quality than most articles, but is not yet a featured article which represents the absolute best of Star Wars Fanon. The good articles of this wiki represent those that are within a stone's throw of becoming a featured article. Articles that no longer meet the standards for becoming a good article can and will have their good article status stripped by the Council of Seers, the good and featured article review board.
Out of 36,151 articles on this wiki, there are currently one hundred and ten (110) good articles and many of them have gone on to become featured articles. These good articles represent some of the best articles the Star Wars Fanon community has to offer. They are essentially the baby steps to becoming featured articles. Only by passing additional inspection from members of the Council of Seers and receiving votes from both Seers and non-Seers alike, however, can they become featured articles. Good articles are generally described as better than normal articles, but not as outstanding as featured articles are.
The article should generally be of substantial length, long enough to promote every given detail about the article, but short enough that it does not become a hassle to read or edit it. If your article is a larger article, you need to balance out the text with an appropriate number of pictures, and they should be spread out and be of appropriate size. The article should also contain an infobox with a picture that shows the character, ship, etc., in complete detail so that the reader can visualize it in his or her own mind.
