Star Wars Fanon's featured works

A featured work on Star Wars Fanon is a work of fan-fiction, in narrative or graphic form, that exemplifies quality. Unlike featured articles, featured works are not required to conform to the Manual of Style, as they are not necessarily written in an article style format—their designation is strictly for novels, fan comics, short stories, etc. Works selected as featured have an excerpt displayed on the main page for a month at a time and are indicated with an icon in the "eras" field to denote their status. The featured works are managed by the Archivists and are listed below.

To become featured:

1. The work must be finished.
2. The work must be of sufficient length as to merit featured work status. A general qualifier is 50,000 words for a novel and 2,500 words for a short story, at a minimum. If other categories of work are nominated, it will be at the discretion of the Archivists as to an appropriate length.
3. The work must be of sufficient quality to merit featured work status and display on the Main Page, as determined by the Archivists
4. The featured work excerpt to be displayed on the Main Page must be of good taste, interesting, less than 300 words, and completely free of spelling and grammar errors. All of these considerations lie with the sole purview of the Archivists chosen to place in charge of this.
5. It must receive at least (2/3) votes from the Archivists and 5 votes from the community to become a featured work.
6. A cover is preferred but not absolutely mandatory. It is better to have no cover than a bad cover.
