Star Wars: The Old Republic: Open Warfare was a fanfiction series that took place following Star Wars: The Old Republic: Rise of the Hutt Cartel and introduced the New Empire project headed by Darth Marr, the Sith Empire had been dealt a moral blow with the official Republic announcement that the Sith Emperor had died but Darth Marr set to work in rebuilding the Empire's advantage from this cost, this included the appearance of many new Imperial Heroes to take the battle to the Republic and regain the equilibrium between the Republic and Imperial territories in the Galaxy.
