Rise of the Empire era, Rebellion era

Star Wars: Empire at War: Mysteries of a Distant System is an expansion of Star Wars: Empire at War. It adds two new factions - Forces of Darkness and the Namelesennian Security Forces - and focuses on the Namelesennian Civil War. It also adds a new mode of gameplay, system conquest - identical to Galactic Conquest, but takes place in one singel system.

GameplayEdit

CampaignEdit

There are two campaigns; Forces of Darkness and Namelesennian Security Forces, much like the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance in the original Empire at War. The Darkness campaign starts with the Raid on the Sith Temple and leads up to the destruction of the city Namelesennia, during Darth Kaxs quest to gain a foothold in the Namelesennia system. The NSF campaign focuses on Namel Es's' quest to protect the people of the Namelesennia. Also the NSF campaign leads to the destruction of Namelesennia, but starts with the Battle over En'rg-ch.

Galactic ConquestEdit

Galactic Conquest works in the same way as in EaW and EaW: Forces of Corruption, excluding that one now can play as Forces of Darkness and Namelesennian Security Forces too.

System ConquestEdit

System Conquest works much like Galactic Conquest, but includes only one system. Instead of just one planet in each system, it also includes all planets as well as all moons and asteroid fields.

SkirmishEdit

Like Galactic Conquest, Skirmish works in just the way as before.
