The Sith were members of various orders, such as the Third Sith Empire, the Brotherhood of Darkness, and the Order of the Sith Lords, who studied and practiced the dark side of the Force. The Sith were the sworn enemies of the Jedi and fought a number of wars against them, including the Great Territorial War and the New Sith Wars. Following the New Sith Wars, the Sith adopted the Rule of Two and only had two members at a time, a master and an apprentice. According to the Prophecy of the Chosen One, a savior was destined to destroy the Sith and bring balance to the Force.[1]
