The Sinyan Socialist Republic, also known as the SSR, was the governing body of Sinya from 24,302 BBY until 24,300 BBY. It was formed from the Sinyan Republic into a totalitarian socialist regime. After a series of violent actions taken against protesting citizens, it entered into an Civil War with the Sinyan Nationalist Movement and was eventually overthrown.
Many SSR leaders were Naxists and the SSR itself was considered a Naxist regime, as it forced its citizens into a equalized socialist society. It was believed to be oppressive by most of its citizens, and this caused many to try to break away or reform the government.
