Shmi Skywalker Lars was the wife of homestead owner Cliegg Lars and mother of Anakin Skywalker. Shortly after her marriage to Cliegg, she went out to Anchorhead, but missed her exit. She got lost on the Bantha Back Roads and decided to spend the night at one of the vaporator, which also happened to be the Tusken Camp. When Anakin found her, she explained what happened, however, when she returned, everyone thought she had been captured.
