Shairi Vitarr was a member of the Pirate group known as Thunder Armada during the Rise of the Empire era.[1] Originally married to Sasha Vitarr, she died along with their unborn child on Dantooine, leaving Sasha as a widower and their child dead.[1]

Shairi Vitarr, alongside her husband, was one of the first characters introduced in the Prologue of Star Wars: The Lost Mantra, and was the first character to die in the novel.
