Sasha Vitarr was a member of the Pirate group known as Thunder Armada[1] during the Rise of the Empire era. Originally married to Shairi Vitarr, she died along with their unborn child on Dantooine,[2] leaving Sasha widowered.

Sasha Vitarr was the first main character featured in the fan-fiction Star Wars: The Lost Mantra, and remains one of the main characters in the currently following chapters. Sasha's first name was taken from the Russian abbreviation of the English name 'Alexander', whilst Vitarr was a randomly selected name.
