The S-DST was a model of aquatic destroyer employed by the Trade Federation around the time of the Invasion of Naboo. It used cutting lasers that operated as energy pummels in an anti-ship role. It had a clamshell design, and was part of a line that included the S-HDST.[1] The Sith Lord Darth Maul and Commander OOM-9 used one to subjugate one of Naboo's sentient species, the Gungans. The destroyer transported B1 battle droids and destroyer droids to the Gungan capital, Otoh Gunga, only to find that it had been abandoned.
