"We all have feelings, even Jedi, Sakiharu. Yet you say my rage that over powered you leads to the dark side? No...I don't believe that. The Jedi may say rage leads to the dark side but I say its how you use it. You use your anger to hurt others. I use my rage to help them!"
—Rixar to Sakiharu

Rixar Vox Irwin was a Jedi during the era of the Old Republic. He was an excellent person over all, greatly skilled in both use of a lightsaber and of the Force, creating his own style of lightsaber combat before the age of twenty, always having a kind face towards his friends and a very tight holder of his beliefs. Though he may have been a Jedi, he had a thirst for battle. Over his entire life, he was able to keep it in check but when at its peck and against an enemy that greatly excited him to fight against, he sometimes couldn't help himself but fight. Studying and practicing usually filled his time, not allowing for much outside interaction with others but he did have a few friends here and there. As for the cross shaped scar on his left cheek, it's unknown how he got it.

[edit] Before the Jedi

[edit] His mother and father

"I found it a little hard to believe she was one before fourteen....makes me wonder what I could do."
—Rixar to Cyril during training

Around twenty years ago, his mother, Ally Yan Kotor, was born and given to the Jedi to train. Ally never knew who her parents were and even today, she doesn't even know their names, nor does the Jedi for she was given to them under a strange situation. The strange situation, in question, was that of an attack on a building on the planet Coruscant. Jedi were sent to the scene but all they found was fire, bodies and Ally, wrapped up in a white cloth and without a scratch on her. At a young age, she was very powerful and gifted in the Force, and learned far more quickly than normal Jedi at the beginning. She soared through every training session given to her and before long, she was already a Jedi Knight by the age of fourteen. Once a Knight, she flooded herself with extra lessons from the other Masters and even the Grandmaster. She was also very curious about knowledge, and wanted to learn as much as she could. Her Masters took this as just curiosity and taught her. During this time, she became very popular among them, chatting with each of them every day and making friends around the Temple. Many Padawans and Knights, as well as Jedi Masters, believed that she would become a Jedi Master herself before the age of twenty and after a year or two, even become the Jedi Grandmaster if she wanted to.

She never made it passed Jedi Knight sadly enough. During a mission to a planet along the Outer Rims, she meet Rixar's father, Hater Phillip Irwin. While she was a Jedi Knight, he was a Mandalorian Captain, well known back on the Mandalorian planets for the missions he's gone through. Through just meeting each other and having a quiet night to themselves, they fell in love with each other almost instantly. Afterward, no one knows where Ally went. The Jedi shortly lost track of her, having lost contact with her, and were unable to find evidence about her, even after long weeks of searching by her close friends. The longer it dragged on however, the more they believed her dead. After a year of searching, the search was abandoned and as far as any of the Jedi are worried, she is believed to have died on the last mission she took, the very mission she meet Hater on. During this time, Ally gladly went wherever Hater went just to be around him and before long, they were back on his home world of Mandalore, away from any Jedi eyes and one of the last places the Jedi expected her to be at. It wasn't long after that their relationship became more and more intense and within the first six months, they were married. About two years later after they married, Rixar was born.

[edit] Childhood

Born on the Mandalorian planet of Mandalore, Rixar was treated rather well, most of the population regarding him as one of their own unlike some that were on the planet. Over the course of his life, Rixar became very close to his mother and father, more his mother than his father because of the missions his father had to go on constantly many times during the months. They almost never talked about his mother once being a Jedi though, learning very little beyond that she left the order and got married. Her reasons to keep information about her and the Jedi away from Rixar are unknown to Rixar, even Hater. Rixar had asked many times before but somehow, the question was always avoided. He could think of some reasons why they might have kept it a secret but none were certain answers. From what he was able to find out, she was once a Jedi Knight and just from hearing that sparked Rixar's childhood dream of one day becoming a Jedi. It only grew with the more stories he heard about the Jedi over the next few years, his favorite stories being that of Raven and Malak. Not just because that they were Jedi but because they had fought against the Mandalorians and reduced them to a state where they'd never be able to recover to their full strength again. Not many could do that in Rixar's opinion, as well as everyone else's.

Like an other Mandalorian, he had a strong will, sometimes stronger than most. His most noticeable difference between him and the others to Ally's eyes was that he had a strong connection to the Force, even stronger than her own, making it difficult at times to not be noticed by the Jedi. Some came but Ally turned them away before they could figure out Rixar's connection to the Force with certainty. Rixar wasn't happy that they went away because of his mother but his mother kept a very forced ruled when talking or dealing with them. This only increased his wonder as to why she did it at all. They didn't make other attempts afterward and the presence of Mandalorians most likely increased the likelihood that the Jedi weren't coming back. Rixar was sad because of that fact, sometimes willingly looking for the Jedi as best as he could on the planet but without little fruition, sometimes only getting a few spanks from his mother for trying to look. It was almost to the point where he thought he'd never be a Jedi at this rate. How wrong he was later on.

[edit] Behind the scenes

Rixar is currently being RPed on TheStarWarsRP.com.

My first thoughts about Rixar were mixed but I was wanting him to be very intelligent and skilled in lightsaber combat, so much so that when he began his training, he would create his own lightsaber style before he was even twenty.

When first making him, I wanted him to have long red hair like that of Himura Kenshin, in the same style and so forth. However, that came to be a little hard to come by as there weren't many pictures of other anime people with the same hairstyle. So instead, I based his appearance on Himura Kenshin.

His mother's last name, Kotor, is the same as the initials for the video game Knights of the Old Republic. Why I choose it, I have no idea. I think I just choose it because it was the only thing I could think of at the time and while thinking of last names, it was the first to come up in my head.

His father's middle name, Phillip, is the first name of my Grandfather's on my mother's side and my middle name.
