Right Intention was one of the eight precepts of the Eightfold Path to Transcend the Dark Side, a Jedi philosophy taught by Jedi Master Jhon Cordatus. The precept taught that Jedi were to commit themselves to the Way of the Jedi not for their own reward, but to serve others.[1]
