Revan, a. k. a. "Meetra Surik", was a female Jedi Sentinel who had led many Jedi into the Mandalorian Wars. After the final battle against the Mandalorians on Malachor V, Revan and her colleague Malak somehow stumbled upon a Star Map on the planet Dantooine. They continued to follow the trail, eventually finding the Star Forge. They used the Star Forge to create a massive army- only for Malak to later turn on Revan, the latter soon afterwards being captured and healed by Bastila Shan.

Revan's mind was reprogrammed with the identity of a Corellian Run smuggler named "Meetra Surik" and was taken aboard the Endar Spire with Bastila Shan. Malak later attacked the Endar Spire in an attempt to capture Bastila- only to fail. Revan and Republic pilot Carth Onasi escaped in an escape pod and crashed on Taris in the Upper City. The two agreed to work together to try and find Bastila, new allies joining them along the way. They managed to rescue Bastila from the Black Vulkars and stole Davik's ship- the Ebon Hawk- managing to escape before Malak's forces decimated Taris.

The group travelled to Dantooine, where Revan later revealed her Force Sensitivity. She was retrained as a Jedi Consular and was soon tasked in tracking down the Star Forge. Gaining new allies throughout the journey, the crew of the Ebon Hawk was later captured by Malak, where the latter told Revan of her true identity. Bastila was captured and Revan, along with the rest of the crew of the Ebon Hawk, were forced to find the last Star Map alone. After locating and boarding the Star Forge, Revan attempted to turn Bastila away from the dark side- and only succeeded just as Bastila was about to strike her down. The two worked together and defeated Malak, and escaped from the Star Forge with the rest of the crew aboard the Ebon Hawk. Afterwards, Revan was taken to Coruscant, where the Jedi Council of Coruscant, despite her heroic actions, exiled her for unknown reasons. Not too long after her exile, Revan discovered that she no longer had a connection to the Force.

History[]

Early Life[]

So you're saying she can't be taken into the Order and be trained just because of a vision??

"Yes, that is what I am saying."

—Master Vrook and Revan's mother having a discussion about Revan joining the Jedi Order

Revan had been born on Corellia, though she and her parents later moved to Coruscant when her parents discovered Revan's strong Force Sensitivity. She was taken to the Jedi Council for an analysis when she was two, but had afterwards been rejected because of a vision Master Vrook had regarding Revan. Her parents tried again a year later to get their daughter into the Order, this time succeeding. Revan was taken into the Jedi Order, never to see her parents again.

Apprenticeship[]

A single blade just doesn't feel right for me. I don't why. It... just isn't me, somehow.

"Well, then, I suppose you would rather have a saberstaff, hm?"

"Yes. Yes, that will do."

—Revan and Nemo discussing lightsabers

A Jedi named Kreia accepted Revan for training as a Jedi Sentinel when Revan was sixteen, though a man called Nemo occasionally trained the young Padawan as well. Revan learned quickly how to wield the Force, which amazed both her masters. However, her personality was extremely reckless at the time- which alarmed the Council, since they believed such a trait could easily lead to the dark side. Revan also had constructed a saberstaff with a viridian kyber crystal inside- despite the fact that the saberstaff was often considered a weapon of war.

Personality[]

During her early years of apprenticeship, Revan was a carefree individual and disliked restraint. She frequently broke the Jedi Code when she felt it was necessary and was quick to justify her reasons. She was also very resentful and often didn't heed her masters' advice. In her later years as a Jedi, she became somewhat less reckless, but continued to retain her unorthodox personality. However, after turning to the dark side and becoming a Sith Lord, she became rather cruel, often purposefully shaming and sometimes even physically hurting her apprentice Malak. During this time Revan also took great pleasure in torturing her prisoners, though she was willing to make their deaths quick if they gave her what she wanted- which was usually information on the Republic or the Jedi.

After Revan's mind was reprogrammed, her personality almost completely reset to the way it was before her fall to the dark side- with the exception of her extreme resentfulness. Later, when she was exiled, Revan became restrained and tried not to show her emotions, most of which were negative. This continued until she somehow ended up on the Peragus station, where she would continue the path that the Force had originally set for her.

Abilities[]

Lightsaber Skills[]

Revan was very skilled in lightsaber combat, and often utilized several lightsaber forms- including Makashi, Shien, and Soresu. However, because she preferred to wield a saberstaff, Revan had some difficulty in using the Soresu and Shien lightsaber forms. As a result, she customised her saberstaff so that way it could be separated into two lightsabers at her will. However, this customisation was rarely used.

A major contribution to her learning these forms was her lust for knowledge, and did her best to learn everything regarding lightsaber combat.

It was noted that even after Revan's mind was wiped and reprogrammed, she still unconsciously carried much of that skill, though during her time on Taris- before discovering her Force Sensitivity- she preferred utilizing a blaster. Thus, it wasn't until she arrived on Dantooine and began her training that she quickly discovered her proficiency with melee weapons.

Force Powers[]

Other skills and abilities[]

After Revan's mind was reprogrammed, she gained numerous skills- including a great proficiency with a blaster, relatively good lock-hacking skills, and good stealth abilities.

Behind the Scenes[]

This version of Revan was created when Julia Finitevus thought of an alternate timeline where Revan and Meetra Surik were the same person. This, of course, would require several changes, making this version different from the original Revan and Meetra Surik.
