Rance Bolivar was a Human male who worked for MI5. Specifically, he was one of the technicians in Q'u Branch, the department of MI5 that produced state-of-the-art technology and gadgets.
Biography[]
Rance was part of the team that was involved in the first attempt at reprogramming the replica droid Digika in 41 BBY. When the project went horribly wrong and Digika went berserk, Rance was almost killed when the replica droid threw sharp tools at him. Then Digika threw Gunnar Flak at him, knocking both Gunnar and Rance to the floor. Q'u managed to shut down the droid before Rance or any of the other techs were seriously hurt.
When SMERSH infiltrated and took over MI5 Headquarters in 32 BBY, Rance was among those rounded up and held hostage by Jasper Fondorball. After what seemed like an eternity, a handful of MI5 agents finally rescued them.
