The Proelicitia was a secretive alliance of Sith Lords headquartered on Ni during the War of Twelve Heirs. Founded by the former Dark Lord of the Decreton Empire, Konopka; the Proelicitia was formed in the wake of an assassination attempt on Setal-ni, to guard the Dark Lord and keep him safe. The members of the Proelicitia were all hardened Sith Lords who had served under either Hekas-ni, Konopka; or both.
Each member harbored a deep hatred for the rival houses and their apparent betrayal and whenever possible took the oppertunity to destroy the command structure of their enemies.
History[]
As the organization's founder, Konopka personally trained all the members of the Proelicitia, with the exception of Setal-ni himself. The existence of the Proelicitia was a closely guarded secret amongst the ruling class of the House of Ni, with none other than Setal-ni, Konopka and Shalbacca knowing of the group. However, Konopka had many allies throughout the empire, and in the three rival houses, having taught many of those who now fought against him.
Following the attempt on Setal-ni's life in 3,963 BBY, Konopka and Shalbacca decided between them that Setal-ni would need the best to defend him. Calling upon his past apprentices, Konopka summoned the Sith Lords Lacertus, Sapientia, Indoles and Vereor to Ni, and once they had arrived, informed them that they had been chosen to defend the Dark Lord. Honored, the four Sith Lords met with a disgruntled Setal-ni and soon formed a close companionship with him.
The Proelicitia proved themselves early when, in 3,962 BBY the House of Mythos attacked the Ni flagship Knightstar in a second attempt on Setal-ni's life. After incapacitating the crew of Knightstar the Mythosian attack force, led by Corae were quickly repelled by the Proelicitia, who delt swiftly with the fumbling Sith Lord, killing him aboard Knightstar's bridge. This victory was both symbolic, and entirely practical for the Proelicitia; who had not only removed one of Setal-ni's betrayers, but also proved their worth.
Following the death of Corae, the Proelicitia retired to Ni, but always kept at least one of their number with the Dark Lord.

The name Proelicita comes from the Latin words proeliator, meaning warriors; and amicitia meaning alliance.
