The Portable Magnetic Generator or PMG was a small device that could be switched on to provide a strong magnetic field within a range of about 2 clicks.

A PMG was used by the Vod Squadron during the attack upon the Senatorial Dome, during an awards ceremony. They used it to stick droids to the walls, then shoot them at their leisure.
