The Octopus was a submersible vessel owned by Pots Putnyocus in 42 BBY. Pots used it as his base of operations during his battle with MI5. It was similarly shaped to a Star Destroyer but smaller.
History[]
Having been submerged in the clean waters of Manaan, the Octopus was rapidly polluting the water. The Selkath wanted the vessel off their planet.
When MI5 agents arrived on Manaan and found the vessel, they infiltrated it and confronted Pots inside. A quick battle began, and when Pots was defeated, MI5 authorities dismantled the aquatic Octopus fortress in the coming weeks, leaving the Selkath in peace.
Construction[]
The Octopus base was built using the submersible plans that were stolen from Cotati's Blueprints. The weapons on-board were the same weapons stolen from the Czerka warehouse on Dantooine. And the money Pots got from pawning the treasures he stole from Jabba the Hutt was what funded the project.
