National governor was the elected head of state for each of the one hundred and six Sa'ari republics of T'lessia. They oversaw their nation's internal affairs, often meeting with the delegates to the Lawyteret to ensure that political and economic ties to other states were maintained through the planetary government. They would be assisted—and sometimes succeeded—by national sub-governors.
