The Montrosa Islands were an archipelago in the Montrosa Ocean, on the agricultural planet of Reytha. Unlike the rest of the planet's terrain, the islands were useless for farming and thus had no inhabitants. But during the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance to Restore the Republic built a military base on one island. It was destroyed by the Galactic Empire. Much later, in 130 ABY, during the Imperial-Sith War, the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances built a shipyard for their military there. The Fel Empire sent an Imperial Army force to destroy it, causing the Battle of Reytha.
